I’m A Celebrity: Robert Kilroy-Silk Blames ITV For Bad Editing

I’m A Celebrity reject, Robert Kilroy-Silk has blasted ITV for editing him badly during his time on the show. Robert believes that the footage was edited to make him look like a bully and cut out some important moments with him comforting and consoling his fellow campmates.

He told The Sun: “I don’t like the result of the vote and I feel very sad that I was first out. Everybody in the camp thought Brian would be the first to go. I don’t know what I did but clearly the public like me least and I have to accept that.

I’m A Celebrity: Everybody Misses Robert Kilroy-Silk

Robert Kilroy-Silk was the first celebrity to be voted out of the I’m A Celebrity Camp by the public.  Everybody was miserable as they hadn’t predicted that Robert would leave.  However, David saw the bright side by claiming Robert’s bed, to the annoyance of the other celebrities. 

David said: “He really didn’t want to be the first and so when he went out I think he was a bit shocked and he was actually broken up a bit.  You could see in his face he was very emotional.”

Robert Kilroy-Silk has been the first star to be booted out of the I’m A Celebrity jungle camp.

Robert seemed popular in camp especially after doing so well in his bushtucker trials, but obviously the public didn’t feel the same and he is now out of the show after only twelve days.

I’m A Celebrity: Robert Kilroy Silk Talks Sexuality With Martina Navratilova

Robert Kilroy-Silk decided to broach Martina Navratilova about her attraction to women.

‘Are you like me? Do you look at girls and fancy them?; He said.

Martina replied ‘Yeah, it depends if I’m in a relationship or not which I usually am, so I try to shut it out but if I see a beautiful woman I’m wow, she’s gorgeous’.

Robert continued. ‘The other thing is if it’s Simon (for example) – say he’s attracted to one of the girls, he can make a move, but how can you develop a relationship without causing offence?’

I’m A Celebrity: Timmy Mallett Apologises

After winding up the I’m A celebrity jungle camp with his laughter during Robert Kilroy-Silk’s live task, Timmy realised he had to apologise.

Robert replied:  “Oh stop it now.  I’m not a vindictive or vengeful person but Tim, I think you know me I won’t take any crap.  I’m trying to fit in here and be not my normal self.  I’m trying not to be aggressive, arrogant.  I’m trying to work with people but don’t do it any more.

“That’s fine.  I accept that [the apology].  You don’t have to say any more.  But leave it there and no more.”

I’m A Celebrity: Robert Kilroy-Silk Takes On ‘JOHN T-REVOLTING’

As he arrived at his second bushtucker trial, Ant and Dec talked Robert through his second Bushtucker Trial. Encased in a Perspex ‘John T-revolting’ suit – fixed in the familiar pose (one hand pointed into the air), he was informed that this was an endurance test.

Asked by Ant and Dec if he understood the trial, he laughed ‘I can see very clear but I can’t see where I fit in.’

The suit was split in into six compartments, two legs, two arms, the torso, the head and added to each were jungle creatures. Each compartment was worth either one or two stars and to win all ten Robert would have to endure the ‘John T-revolting’ suit for ten minutes.

I’m A Celebrity: Home Camp Bitch About Robert Kilroy-Silk

I’m A Celebrity’s Home Camp enjoyed a bit of a bitching session on last night’s show as they talked about their rival camp and the impressions that they’ve made. George Takei said: “Robert seems like a real villain.”

Joe Swash defended the former TV presenter saying said: “I think we’re painting him in a bad picture. I think he’s a wind up merchant. I think when he comes on people should form their own opinions. That’s the thing with Kilroy. You don’t know whether he’s joking or whether he’s serious. I think he’s going to be an awkward fella, an awkward character.” And on the rest of the rival Camp, Joe commented: “I bet they’re just as interested in us as we are in them.”

I’m A Celebrity: Joe Swash Wins Chamber Of Horrors!

Joe Swash was not amused when he arrived to take part in his third trial. When greeted by Ant and Dec he said: “I didn’t think I would be back this soon not after yesterday that’s a bit mean.”

Joined by Robert, they were told the rules. Both had to enter aseparate chamber and compete head to head to win food for their camp. They each had to climb to the bottom of their chamber where they were chained in leg irons, a waist belt and hand cuffs.

I’m A Celebrity: MEP Glenis Willmott Calls Kilroy An “Absolute Disgrace”

MEP Glenis Willmott has branded fellow MEP Robert Kilroy-Silk "an absolute disgrace" for taking part in this years I’m A Celebrity series.

Kilroy-Silk is currently an Independent MEP for the East Midlands in the European Parliament.

"I think it shows a complete lack of respect for voters," Labour MEP Glenis Willmott told The Mirror. "We are in serious times and people expect their politicians to do a job of work.

I’m A Celebrity 2008: Carly Zucker & Robert Kilroy Silk Lock Horns!

The difficulties of camp life in the I’m A Celebrity Away Camp led to tensions mounting between politician Robert Kilroy-Silk and glamour model Carly Zucker.

After dinner, Robert washed up the pots but was disturbed by Carly watching over him. ‘I came down here (to wash up) to save you lot the trouble and you come down here to supervise!’ he exclaimed.

Carly replied, ‘I came down to see if we were doing it right and be happy we’re doing it right – know what I mean.’

‘No I don’t’ snapped back Robert. ‘You’re a control freak. There are lots of signs and you like it’ he said.

I’m A Celebrity 2008: Robert Kilroy Silk Sees Show As A Challenge!

Former TV presenter, Robert Kilroy-Silk has said that he views his time in the I’m A Celebrity jungle camp as a challenge and thinks it will be a very interesting experience.

However he has also revealed that his immediate family sren’t just as pleased as he is that he agreed to take part in the show.

"My wife would say I’m difficult. My daughter would say I’m difficult. My son would say I’m difficult. So I assume I’m difficult. I don’t know what difficult means," he said.
