Royal Wedding: David Frost thinks Princess Diana would have been ‘thrilled’ with Kate Middleton

Sir David Frost has claimed that Princess Diana would have been ‘thrilled’ with her son William’s choice of wife.

The journalist, who was close to Diana before she died, appeared on Piers Morgan tonight and insisted that the mother of the groom would have enjoyed his wedding today, had she lived to see it.

“I think that she would be thrilled with the choice [William's] made [for a bride],” Frost said, adding:

Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton designs Kate Middleton’s Royal Wedding dress

We have been waiting for months to see the dress and finally this kornignwe got our first glimpse of Kate Middleton’s wedding gown.

The flowing ivory garment was designed by Sarah Burton, who is best known as a leader in the house of Alexander McQueen.

She created the ivory gown with lace applique floral detailing and a 2.7 metre train, as well as the bridesmaid dress worn by the bride’s sister Pippa Middleton, and Kate’s ivory duchesse satin and lace shoes.

Samantha Cameron wowed the crowds today, when she donned a stunningly simple teal green Burberry Prorsum dress for the Royal Wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William.

The wife of British Prime Minister David Cameron is thought of as quite the fashionista. She is an Ambassador for British Fashion Council and usually favours the gowns of homegrown UK designers.

Prince William arrives at Royal Wedding wearing Irish Gards uniform

Prince William has just turned up at Westminster Abbey.

The groom donned the red military uniform and blue sash of the Irish Gards for the ceremony and was accompanied by a nervous looking Prince Harry, who is serving as best man for today’s nuptials with Kate Middleton.

The groom made his way to the Abbey from Buckingham Palace after many guests had already taken to their seats, but before foreign royals and members of his own and Kate’s families.
