The Voice UK: Ruth-Ann St Luce says axing her from the show was “unfair” and “unprofessional”

In last night’s The Voice UK results show, we saw Ruth-Ann St Luce losing her place in the contest after coach Jessie J chose to keep Toni Warne in the competition.

However, in today’s Sun, Ruth-Ann has revealed that she believes “unfair editing” was to blame for her being ousted, as well as also branding some of the coaches’ comments about her as “unfair and unprofessional.”

She said, “The comments of the judges play a big part in whether the public want to vote for you or not.

“In my blind audition and the battle round the last comments people saw of me were negative, but the judges had said positive things.

“I thought that was really unfair and didn’t make any sense. It’s unprofessional… Read more & comment »

The Voice: Jessie J blasts Hannah Berney, Danny O’Donoghue hits back at Ruth-Ann St. Luce

It was like the battle of the judges on last night’s episode of The Voice, with Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue going head to head over a number of contestants.

The Script frontman seemed put out when his co-star criticised his singer Hannah Berney, after she delivered a pretty darned perfect version of a ‘Cry Me A River’ mash up.

Jessie hated the dancers and all the production surrounding the pretty cheerleader and insisted that because the show was called ‘The Voice,’ it should be about just that. Mr O’D hit back saying he was trying to show different aspects of Hannah’s performance ability and her versatility.
