David Walliams seems to have taken a shine to the pinkest twins in town, Sam and Amanda Marchant.
The pair became famous (?) during last summer’s series of Big Brother, and now it is rumoured that Walliams has offered them a joint role in the hit BBC comedy Little Britain.
Walliams is said to have seen the girls doing a Vicki Pollard impression at a recent awards bash, and was so impressed that he promised to get them into at least one episode of the next Little Britian series.
Blond Big Brother twins Sam & Amanda left spectators breathless last weekend as they took the plunge in a 24hr scuba dive at Pinewood Studios for Children in Need.
Making a glamorous entrance, the pair looked truly twincredible in their matching pink wetsuits and all-pink diving equipment designed especially for the event. The sexy twins join stars such as Daniel Craig, Keira Knightley, Take That and Mc Fly who have all previously worked on the underwater filming tank.
Sam and Amanda joined a team of divers from Reef Scuba who took it in turns to be sub-merged underwater continuously for 24 hours. Divers were also challenged to complete a series of Big Brother style underwater tasks including underwater ballroom dancing in full ballroom dress and underwater space-hopper racing. Davina McCall was so taken with Big Brother couple Brian and Amanda, that she worked around both their hectic schedules and set up a romantic date for the pair this week.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the ditzy lass said: “I was so upset because I had been looking forward to seeing him all day. I had my hair done and was wearing the sexiest dress ever.
“Davina saved is both, it was ace. She came and found me and said Brian had been looking for me everywhere but loads of people kept coming up to him so he couldn’t get away.
“So she grabbed me and then went off and saved Brian from these people and brought him to me!” Read more & comment »
A record £5 million has been bet on Sam and Amanda Marchant to win Big Brother 2007, making them the most popular Big Brother housemates yet.
The bookies stand to lose a fortune if the girls win, as they were first given the odds of only 20/1 when people were sure Brian would win.
Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg said last night: “The twins will go down in BB history.

Big brother twins, Sam and Amanda Marchant have become the latest housemates to become safe from eviction this week.
Housemates were faced with an assault course task yesterday. They had to complete the course, then train to improve their strength and agility, before tackling the course for a second time.
Sam and Amanda cut their time by 46 per cent and gained immunity from this week’s eviction vote, becoming “body gurus”.
Big Brother twins, Sam and Amanda faced a huge decision last night as part of the housemates latest task.
As part of the time challenge task, the twins were transported back until day two of their BB experience. They were shown a clip of them asking Big brother:
