I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here! 16th Novemeber

From being the most unpopular contestant in the Jungle due to Lauren Booth (Tony Blaire’s sister in law) writing nasties about David Gest (Liza Minelli’s ex husband), his ear bursting snoring and continuous moaning about food, after only two days in the Jungle, he is now a HERO.

David was the first celebrity chosen by the public to tackle a trial. Jan Leeming, volunteering, amongst others, for the first trial and been chosen by the other contestants survived her challenge in the pit with two stars. David showed incredible confidence, no fear, side splitting humour and determination to do well in the trial. Flash Flood being his trial, meant David had to go into a glass fronted tank which slowly filled with water and he had to find ten wrenches to open ten pipes to retrieve ten stars for ten meals while all sorts of nasties flowed out of the pipes. Alligator babies, snakes, fish of all kinds and many more. Fearlessly he pressed on with enormous spiders on his face, head and back as he managed to accumulate six of the ten stars before the rising water made it impossible for him to stay in the tank. He strolled back to camp with one attached giant spider on his back, to be welcomed by all. There was singing, clapping and hugs for the hero of the day.

The next task is Jungle Boogie with a contestant hanging suspended, wearing disco pants and while dancing, trap doors will release various horrors onto the dancer. These could be anything from maggots to rats. Who will the public send. Phina who ridiculed Lauren’s fear of the spider in her bed or Lauren for her nasty remarks about David or maybe our glamorous and courageous singer, Myleene Klass. No, it is fashion designer Scott Henshall. (The Birthday Boy)

Scott Cries “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of HERE!”

Scott Henshall: I'm A CelebrityFashion Designer Scott Henshall has become the first celebrity of the series to cry out “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here” during a bushtucker trial.

Wimpy Scott managed to collect a meagre one star during his bushtucker trial named Jungle Boogie.

Scott danced to The Jackson Five’s ‘Boogie’ which won him one star - as meal worms and crickets showered down on him. As Ant and Dec got ready to play the next song, he called a halt shouting “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! …Now!

An astounded Ant said: “You could have stayed longer, couldn’t you?

Scott replied: “No, absolutely not.

“But they were only crickets and earth worms! Ant pressed.

“No sorry – I know it’s pathetic, but I said I’d get one and that’s enough.

Afterwards, the reality hit home and on his way back to camp to deliver the bad news Scott was mortified:

“I thought before I went in ’I’ll be able to do this,’ but the songs lasted too long – they went on and on for an eternity – I really couldn’t have done any more. I know it might sound pathetic but tough.

It’s going to be a hungry day in the jungle………

I’m A Celebrity: No One Wants To Sleep With Scott Henshall

Scott Henshall: I'm A CelebrityPoor Scott! Used to having people flock around and hang off his coat tails, this trip to the jungle must be quite a shock to the famous fashion designer.

The six kayakers arrived in camp, only to find themselves faced with their first jungle task. The camp contained only 8 beds and to reach the other two, the group had to build a bridge.

Toby Anstis set to building the bridge and after some time gave up with frustration. Each slab of wood to make the bridge had a certain slot. Scott Henshall took over and completed the task becoming the first person to enter the tree house containing the other two beds. There he found a note instructing him that as he was the first in he must now sleep in it and choose someone to accompany him.

Scott informed the other five: “As I found this message I am sleeping here tonight. Faith you will be sleeping in here with me. But his bed buddy Faith had second thoughts when she went into the tree house and found it rocked. One by one Scott’s fellow celebrities turned him down, deciding that the tree house was not all it was cracked up to be.

Faith, Toby and Myleene all declined Scott’s offer to accompany him, claiming the rocky tree house would make them queasy and in the end Lauren opted to join – but only after checking a few things:

“Scott, do you fart or snore?

Poor Scott!

I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! Profile Of Scott Henshall

Scott Henshall: I'm A CelebrityName: Scott Henshall

Age: 30 (31 on Nov 15th)

Profession: Fashion Designer

Celebrity Supporters: Princess Tamara, Jasmine Lennard, Paris Hilton, Kylie Minogue

Fears and Phobias: cockroaches, stereotypes,

Special Skills: designing and styling, loyalty, bitchiness,

Since he became the youngest designer to show at London Fashion Week at the tender age of 22, Scott Henshall’s fabulous creations have dominated red carpets. The man behind the designer dresses knows that the world of fashion would disdainfully frown at his involvement in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!…but quite frankly he couldn’t care less.

“Most people in fashion would be disgusted that I’m even doing a reality TV show, he confesses. “But as far as I’m concerned it’s as good being in Heat magazine as it is being in Vogue.

“Most people in the fashion industry are evil and horrible and I don’t even mix with them. This is why I’m doing this kind of show. Because you work in fashion, people sometimes think it’s pretentious, it’s all glamour, and to an extent it is, but at the end of the day I’m still a good Northern boy and I’m just doing fashion as my job.

With an infectious energy and a very individual sense of humour, Scott enthuses about his fellow celebrities:

“I want really fit hot cute straight boys that I’m going to convert from straight men to gay men, because I always prefer straight men to gay men. I’m going to have my own little clique and get them all in there and they’ll be my little posse.

A character at the very top of his game, Scott wants to go into the jungle to give himself a reality check but even he isn’t quite sure of how he will cope.

“I am a spoilt brat. I have everything I want and people looking after me 24/7. If I don’t like something, it goes. If I want someone sacked they’re gone. I get what I want, when I want it and it’s about time I have a reality check.

Later commenting that he loathes stereotypes such as ‘people should be skinny’, Scott admits that he likes to cause controversy with his comments and doesn’t care if his fellow campers take offence.

“If they get it they get it, if they don’t they don’t. Nothing bothers me because I am who I am and I should come across as a Northern boy that’s made good.

In a nod to the world of fashion, Scott will be buffing and beautifying before he goes into the jungle.

“I’m going to have a complete body wax and a fake tan before I go, which I know will wash off straight away. As for anything else, I’m worried about the rations. I love my food and I’m very extreme. For me its either Nobu or McDonalds, no-where in between. I love my food hot and I like it when I want it!
