As we reported, on Tuesday, Big Brother housemate Scott Mason briefly left the show’s compound in order to be told about a bereavement within his family.

And today, the Daily Star reports that Scott learned the tragic news that it was his sister who had died suddenly and unexpectedly.

No further details about the tragedy have as yet been made public, however, after spending a short time with members of his family, Scott made the decision to return to the house.

On his return, he told fellow housemate Ashleigh, “It’s a family matter and I don’t want to talk about it.”

It remains to be seen whether Scott will want to attend his sister’s funeral, and if he does, if he will be permitted to continue being a housemate on the Channel 5 show… Read more & comment »
