Shockingly, Seamus Cullen has left Any Dream Will Do tonight, after facing a sing off with Ben Ellis.
I have got the feeling that Andrew wasn’t a big Seamus fan for weeks now so his choice to save Ben was no real shock.
As the show closed and Seamus sang Close Every Door To Me, but he changed the lyrics. The closing line should have been sang “I have been promised a land of my own” but Seamus sang “I have been promised a SHOW of my own.”
So was this just extreme optimism or has Seamus already lined up a job in a major show in case the Joseph thing didn’t work out. I would really love to know as I was an unashamed Seamus fan!

Seamus Cullen, 35
A sales & marketing worker from Willesden Green, London.
Born in the United States and now based in London, Seamus Cullen is the oldest member of the group.
He was educated in Virginia, Cornwall and Cork and made his first appearance on BBC TV as a choirboy at the age of ten.
He has worked for years in IT, marketing and events, is currently training to become a teacher and believes that he would make a “powerful, emotionally engaging and sensitive Joseph.”
Seamus attended the London auditions, and says that he has found the process “emotional”, but now that the 12 have been chosen, “everything has become focused and we can all start believing that dreams can come true.”
Seamus Cullen was eliminated from Any Dream Will Do on the 28th of April. For more information on his last performance and his angry comments click here.
