“completely surreal. Sharon [Osbourne, then a judge] wanted me to stage a walkout one week to generate a huge tabloid story and get me votes. When I refused, she didn’t speak to me again.”
Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne has tried to hit Simon Cowell where it hurts and signed up for his rival UK show, Strictly Come Dancing.

Louis told the newspaper that he had no doubts about Sharon’s return, adding: “Obviously Dannii would be the one to go – having Sharon and Cheryl on the show together is too good an opportunity to miss”.
He contined: “The thing about Sharon is she can’t be controlled. At the moment Simon has three judges who, let’s face it, he controls. With Sharon we never knew what she was going to do next – she was just so unpredictable. I really miss her but we speak on the phone at least twice a week.” Read more & comment »
Sharon Osbourne dramatically left the X Factor judging panel earlier this year amid claims of unrealistic pay demands, but sources say that the loud mouthed mum is already regretting her decision.
A friend of Sharon’s told Star magazine: “It has hit her hard. She has been in bits. She thought she was going to be inundated with other offers but it hasn’t happened. It’s especially hard on her as her replacement Cheryl is so young and popular. Sharon’s starting to feel like she might be past it.
Another source added: “There were rumours of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and all sorts, but nothing that great has actually been offered to Sharon. It’s not often she admits she is wrong, but she’s worried she has misjudged her popularity.”
If this is true I think it’s a real shame, as in her heyday Sharon was a great X Factor judge. Read more & comment »
