Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne, has apologised for laughing at Susan Boyle and saying that God had hit her with the ugly stick.

Sharon wrote on her Twitter page: “Susan Boyle is a lovely gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her.

“I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologise for getting a cheap laugh at her expense.”

Sharon Osbourne has mocked Britain’s Got Talent singer Susan Boyle and said that she looks like a “slapped a**e”.

In an interview with Sirius XM Radio, Osbourne commented: “I like everybody to do well. Even somebody that looks like a slapped a**e. God bless her. It’s like, ‘You go girl’. She does look like a hairy a**ehole.”

She continued: “[God] gave her the talent. Yes he did. [And] he hit her with a f**king ugly stick.”

Sharon Osbourne has admitted that she didn’t take part in this year’s Strictly, because she was too “lazy.”

“There was a lot of speculation about me doing Strictly Come Dancing this year, but you know what? I just couldn’t be arsed to do it,” she told Love It magazine.

“I seriously considered it for a while but basically I’m a lazy old cow. Several newspapers said I wasn’t doing it because they weren’t paying me enough money. But that’s rubbish as the money goes to colon cancer charity.

“The truth is I couldn’t make a physical commitment for five hours a day, six days a week for several months. I’ve been watching Kelly [Osbourne, daughter] rehearsing for the American version Dancing With The Stars and it’s a horrendous schedule. I couldn’t do it.”

Jack Osbourne has admitted that he found it embarrassing to watch his mum as a judge on ITV’s X Factor.

The Adrenaline Junkie star said he had a hard time getting used to his mums new public persona, when she sat on the judging panel from 2004 to 2007.

Speaking to Kerrang, he commented: “There’s definitely a lot of embarrassing stuff. I always found X Factor with my mum hard to deal with, just because who she is perceived as on television is not necessarily who she is to me.

“Just like when my dad’s on stage. At home, my dad is dad – he’s not Ozzy Osbourne.

“I had a hard time getting used to the fact that my mum now had a public persona she’d created for herself, but also she was my mum.”

Kelly Osbourne has revealed that her mum, Sharon, once peed on her whilst trying to wax her top lip.

In her autobiography Fierce, Kelly tells how her mum ambushed her at the tender age of 14.

Kelly said: “She shouted, ‘Darling, come here’. She was standing with a little pot and plastic spatula and said, ‘Lie on your back for a minute’. She straddled my stomach, and smeared the wax on my top lip.

“I screamed in pain. She’d heated it for too long. She did eventually pull it off but half my skin went with it. To make it worse, she was laughing so hard she weed on me.”

Kelly also revealed that she is not happy about her mums continual use of plastic surgery.

She added: “She says, ‘I’m just going in for a routine op’. There’s nothing routine about getting your t*ts done!

“Once she had her lips plumped. We were sitting around Sir Elton John’s dining room table and he said, ‘Sharon, what the f**k has happened to your lips?’ We all burst out laughing. He sent her to a doctor to get it fixed.”

Sharon Osbourne has claimed that being born ’short, fat and hairy’ made her develop a personality and skills that she wouldn’t have bothered with had she been pretty.

Sharon managed her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s career for 20 years before become a worldwide reality TV star and in an interview with Psychologies magazine she said that he lack of natural prettiness forced her to ‘develop a brain and personality and be fun and smart and learn to get on with people and make deals.’

‘In the music business in the Seventies, girls were beautiful. You were a performer, or you could be a girlfriend or groupie, but you still had to look good. I didn’t have the face or the body that opens doors… Not being beautiful was an education.’

And she goes as far as to say: ‘My achievements are down to my looks, or lack of them… I’m not putting myself down, that’s the truth.

‘I didn’t have nay talent, either, and I left school with barely a single qualification.’If I’d been pretty my life would probably have been very different.’

I actually think that Sharon makes some really good points here. Having read one of her autobiographies, I appreciate that Sharon has not had an easy or charmed life, yet she has made quite a career for herself off the back of her sharp business skills and take no s**t attitude to life.

BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing is said to be in a crisis state after two of its biggest names pulled out.

The Mirror reports that both Sharon Osbourne and Richard Madeley have quit the show after beeb bosses insisted on a 30% cut in all celebrity fees.

Sharon is also said to be upset at the channel’s decision to sack show veteran, Arlene Phillips.

“Sharon is a serious player in America’s Got Talent but what the BBC finally offered was ridiculous” said a pal. “And what happened to Arlene was a disgrace.”

Former X Factor semi finalist Ben Mills has given a very revealing interview to The Times today, in which he talks about the amount of staging and faking he experience during the 2006 series of the show.

Ben described his time on the ITV talent show as:

“completely surreal. Sharon [Osbourne, then a judge] wanted me to stage a walkout one week to generate a huge tabloid story and get me votes. When I refused, she didn’t speak to me again.”

Ben also revealed that Ray Quinnn and Simon Cowell were often less than honest with the viewers saying:

“Simon always pre-warned me if he was going to spice up the show a bit by slagging me off, but I’ve never forgiven Ray [Quinn, second, 2006, now playing Danny in Grease in the West End] for crying during the semi. I offered him 50 quid not to, but he’d made up his mind. You could almost hear the old ladies at home reaching for their phones.”

Stories like this make me a whole lot more cynical about any shows that Cowell is involved with. Much as I love X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, only a fool would believe that all is as it appears on screen. Did Simon Cowell really not remember Flawless from their performances on X Factor, was he really not aware that Shaheen’s second song was much better than his first and did he ever even fire Louis Walsh in 2007? I’ll let you make your own mind up!

Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne has tried to hit Simon Cowell where it hurts and signed up for his rival UK show, Strictly Come Dancing.

A friend of Sharon’s told the Daily Mirror that she had definitely signed for the BBC show which airs on the same night as Cowell’s X Factor and she is rumoured to have commanded £100,000 for her appearance.

A BBC source told the newspaper: “Sharon is already a huge name in TV and music, so she is perfect for the show.

“The fact she has been on X Factor means that she is sure to have plenty to say when the two shows launch. Sharon verbally agreed the deal several days ago and will sign contracts in the coming weeks. She is so excited she is already telling her friends. Cowell won’t thank her.”

I was always a big Sharon fan up until her last X Factor series. Dannii Minoguie and their ensuing feud brought out a wicked side of her and I’d like to see her back on form on British TV. I will be looking forward to watching her on Strictly, she may be the Beebs’ secret weapon in stealing back the viewers from ITV.

Sixteen American TV channels have refused to air The Osbourne’s latest reality TV show with a leading TV critics calling the effort ‘pathetic!’

Earlier this week we reported that one channel in Panama, Florida refused to air the show after American Idol describing it as ‘unsuitable and contrary to the public interest’.

However now fifteen other channels have followed suit and failed to place the 35 minute long show. The Washington Post’s style columnist Tom Shales wrote that the show ‘could make history – as the first TV show ever to be recalled for fear of poisoning the atmosphere.’

And Entertainment Weekly magazine were equally unimpressed, calling it ‘pathetic’. Ken Tucker wrote, ‘It seems a lifetime since, in 2002, the Osbournes came across as refreshingly nutty on their MTV reality show.

‘On The Osbournes: Reloaded, Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack were just pathetic. No wonder Fox kept chopping this proposed hour-long “variety show” into an ever-smaller size before airing it.’
