Shaun Smith has said that anyone could win this weeks Britains Got Talent.
The 17-year-old singer has won a place in the final and says that although Susan Boyle is tipped to win, people shouldn’t write he and the other contestants off.
Smith told The Mirror: “Anyone could win. I’ve met Susan and she’s lovely. But I think we’re all on a level playing field going into the final. It’s wide open.
“If nothing else comes of this it’s been a brilliant experience – the best of my life.”

Flawless and Shaun Smith have triumphed on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent semi-final and will perform again on Saturday night’s final.
It was hardly surprising that Flawless achieved the highest amount of public votes. They were the last act to perform, which seems to guarantee success and most of the other acts tonight were complete and utter crap.
After the results of the public vote was revealed and the judges were forced to decide between ventriloquist Gareth Oliver and singer Shaun Smith. They had all gushed about Shaun’s amazing performance so it was no surprise that he went through to the final. I’m not sure he deserved it though. Better singers have got kicked off X Factor at bootcamp stage.
Who were you backing tonight and more importantly, who do you think will win on Saturday night?

Britain’s Got Talent singer, Shaun Smith has revealed that he didn’t enter X Factor because he doesn’t think he is good enough. I’d like to congratulate him on being honest enough to admit that fact. I described him as distinctly average in another post and got my head bit off for the privilege.
Shaun told The Sun: “A lot of people said, ‘Why didn’t you go in for The X Factor?’ — but I didn’t think I would win.
“I’d end up being one of the average ones. There’s no way I would have beaten people like Leona Lewis or Alexandra Burke.

Britain’s Got Talent hottie Shaun Smith has admitted that his girlfriend is nervous about his success on the show and thinks he will dumo her if he achieves major success.
Shaun has been dating his girlfriend Emily for eleven months, but you females out there will be sad to hear that he has no intention of letting her go.
Shaun told the Sun: “She thinks I’m going to run away with some random woman but I’ll never do that. She means too much to me and really helps me out by telling me what to wear.”

Shaun Smith performed on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent and I’m still not sure why he got a standing ovation.
Shaun is a seventeen year old rugby player, who granted, has a nice singing voice. In his audition for the three judges he sang Ain’t No Sunshine’ and at one point I was sure the audience were listening to something different to me. Shaun can sing, in fact he is a pretty good singer, but he certainly wasn’t amazing. He lacked the wow factor and I’m really convinced that he got through to the next round because the judges thought he had ‘the look.’
People have been saying that Shaun could rival Susan Boyle. I just don’t see that happening.

17 year old A-level student Shaun Smith from Litchfield Staffordshire impresses the judges on tomorrow night’s Britain’s Got Talent. At school Shaun is a bit of a rugby star and plays three-four times a week but Shaun’s rugby mates have come along with him today to support his true passion, singing. As Shaun explains “I have been singing for as long as I can remember I’ve done little things but I’ve never sung at anything this big before. It’s all very well and good my Gran saying I’m good but she’s a little biased, but it’s my mates that are the most important thing and that’s when I get nervous as they could rip me to shreds!”.
