Hear Big Brother’s Shievonne Robinson singing One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful!

Attention One Direction boys – do you want a new singer? Because if so, Big Brother’s Shievonne Robinson wants the job!

Since she left the Big Brother house on Friday, becoming the sixth evictee of this series, Shievonne Robinson has had all manner of work offers…

However, it seems what she really fancies doing is joining One Direction, and to that end, she’s tried out karaoke styly for the band in a new video that Big Brother has recently uploaded to YouTube.

Sadly, we can’t embed it, but you can click here if you’d like to see and hear how Shievonne did, but while I’m no music industry expert, I think I can safely predict that if One Direction are ever looking for a female singer, Shievonne need not apply… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: Soo, Shievonne Robinson’s gone! Glad or sad? And could Conor win?!

As fans of Big Brother will of course know, Shievonne Robinson became the latest evictee from the house last night, which of course meant that Conor McIntyre was saved to live at least another week of BB life.

And what’s quite remarkable about that is that just last Monday, when the nominations reveal was made and we heard that Shievonne and Conor were going head to head this week, it seemed a foregone conclusion that Conor would leave…

There’s no doubt that he was Britain’s most hated man following his Deana rant, and the tidal wave of hatred towards him became quite scary at times, and I was genuinely concerned for his safety at one point.

But then Shievonne began sowing the seeds of her own undoing by being paranoid and targeting Deana pretty much all week… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: MP Keith Vaz demands government debate over viewers’ complaints – valid use of taxpayers’ money? I think not

It’s been reported today that Labour MP Keith Vaz, who’s chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee, has called for MPs to debate allegations of bullying and racist remarks allegedly made in this series of Big Brother.

Mr Vaz’s action was prompted following the latest hoohar in which Shievonne apparently accused Deana of “playing the race card” to get sympathy from her fellow housemates.

In addition, he urged TV watchdog Ofcom to “swiftly investigate” whether Channel 5 broke broadcasting rules by airing heated exchanges between housemates, and for broadcasting what some have deemed to be offensive words and/or actions.

For instance, everyone of course knows that viewers have complained about Conor’s rant over Deana, so we don’t need to go there again. They’ve also complained that Caroline called Adam “a ridiculous gorilla” and days later, said of him, “Look at him, like Martin Luther King, preaching to his people…” Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: Psychiatrist rushed in to see Shievonne Robinson after she makes suicide remark

It’s been reported today that concerned Big Brother producers hurriedly arranged for a psychiatrist to visit housemate Shievonne Robinson after she made a remark about suicide to one of her fellow housemates while revealing that she’s “very depressed”.

The drama over Shievonne has of course been building since she discovered she faces eviction this week – along with Conor – and she has become obsessed with Deana over it, blaming her entirely.

Similarly, she can’t move on from a remark Adam made about her in a faux viewer Q&A session – which Shievonne watched in a secret room along with the other members of the Blue Team during the Turf Wars task – when he branded her “fake” and said she can’t be trusted.

Since then, Shievonne has barely spoken two words to Adam, but she can’t, or won’t, stop berating Deana for nominating her, and as we saw in last night’s highlights show, she’s now also furious that Deana has been talking about the tension between herself and Shievonne with new BFF SaraRead more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: Housemates fear Shievonne Robinson is having a nervous breakdown

It seems that a few of the Big Brother housemates are concerned that fellow housemate Shievonne Robinson is headed for – or already having – a nervous breakdown.

Since she learned on Monday that she faces eviction this Friday against Conor McIntyre, her behaviour and moods have become increasingly erratic, and it seems she’s finding it impossible to move on from her recent row with Adam Kelly – after he called her “fake” and said she wasn’t to be trusted – and her even more recent row with Deana Uppal.

The war of words with Deana is rumbling as Shievonne has singled her out for blame after only the Green Team – of Luke S, Scott, Adam, Becky and of course Deana – were permitted to nominate this week.

Shievonne has since spent much of her time in tears and has had long trips to the Diary Room to talk through her feelings, and vent her anger, at Big Brother’s producers… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: Bookies predict that Shievonne Robinson or Conor McIntyre will walk before Friday’s eviction

Nominations were announced in the Big Brother house last night with Conor and Shievonne gearing up to face the public vote this week. At the minute and after all the arguing with Deana, Conor is the 8/11 favourite to leave with Shievonne quoted at 1/1 with William Hill. However, both of this week’s potential evictees have threatened to walk over the last week and bookies think there is a fair chance that they will keep their promise and are offering odds of 5/1 that either of them walk before Friday.

“Conor is up for the chop again and looks likely to go but at the rate Shievonne is going we may well be up for another shock this week. She has started to grate on some of her fellow housemates and that goes for the public as well,” said William Hill spokesman Mark Young.

Big Brother 2012: After nominations Conor McIntyre tells Shievonne and Sara McLean he might walk out!

Conor McIntyre has revealed that he is considering leaving Big Brother.

The personal trainer was nominated for eviction yesterday – again – and faces the public vote with fellow housemate Shievonne Robinson. However he may not wait around to see if he makes it through to next week or not, as he is considering leaving of his own accord he has confessed.

Big Brother 2012: Nominations fall out sees Conor rule break & Shievonne and Deana row

Yesterday of course saw Conor and Shievonne learning that they’re facing eviction this week, and I would say it’s a foregone conclusion that Conor will be the one leaving…

However, the nominations reveal left a very bad taste in Shievonne’s mouth, and she wanted to spit it out, metaphorically, all over Deana, who she seems to blame for the outcome of this week’s nominations.

The fact that Adam, Luke S, Becky and Scott also had to nominate yesterday seems to have passed Shievonne by – but with regard to Adam, she expected him to nominate her and seems therefore to be ‘over’ it with him – so vehement was she in how she broached the subject with Deana… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: Nominations reveal sees Conor and Shievonne facing eviction on Friday

Day 35 in the Big Brother house has been a quiet and even sombre affair as the Green Team have each been mulling over who they’re going to nominate, because of course, the Blue Team lost their right to nominate along with the Diary Room in the final Turf Wars challenge.

And as we reported earlier, that meant then that only Adam, Becky, Deana, Scott and Luke S could nominate this week, and BB has just revealed that Conor and Shievonne are facing eviction on Friday.

Has the news come as a surprise to you or are the nominated housemates who you expected or hoped would be up?

And of course, who do you want to see doing the walk of shame on Friday night?

While you’re thinking on that one, Big Brother revealed a summary today – via the show’s website – of some of the nominations statistics, and Deana topped the chart with a whopping 17 nominations over the course of the last five weeks… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: Green Team win the Diary Room so only Adam, Deana, Becky, Luke S and Scott can nominate

Yesterday was Day 34 in the BB house, and the last day of the Turf Wars task, which saw the Blue and Green Teams competing for the right to nominate this week…

However, Luke A and Lauren have been working out how to sabotage the task for the Blue Team in order to ensure that Shievonne and Caroline – and probably Ashleigh after the whole birthday-gate drama – couldn’t nominate Adam.

Presumably, their assumption was then that no matter who he faced eviction with, he’d lose and be offski.

But in a twist, Green Team Adam was chosen to try for the Diary Room alongside Blue Team’s Luke A, and despite Luke A’s best efforts, the Blue Team rather uncharacteristically won and therefore had exclusive rights to the all important room… Read more & comment »
