Celebrity Big Brother winner, Shilpa Shetty recently traveled back to her home country to visit her ill father. But this week Shilpa will be making her return to the UK in order to help fellow Big Brother housemate Jo O’Meara.

It is said that Jo has suffered from agoraphobia since leaving the Big Brother house and has been unable to leave her hotel room since her reemergence into the real world.

Shilpa The Daily Star, “I would like to speak to Jo and make sure she is all right. I am very worried about her.”

“I know she is a good person and I hate to think of what she is going through. She doesn’t have much self-confidence and I know she must be having a terrible time.”

“I just want to speak to her and tell her to try to be strong. I have no ill feeling towards her. My heart goes out to her.”

Interviewer John Daly was stunned this week as he interviewed former Big Brother housemate John McCririck for Sky’s Overseas Property show.

John was flabbergasted as the overweight McCririck blasted: “She’s no wonder girl. How many times has she had sex ? Probably very few and not very often.”

He continued: “These girls are very precious. Their bodies are so special that no man may penetrate it. She is difficult.”

After the ordeal was over, John daly revealed: “I was taken aback. It was one of the most challenging interviews I have ever done.”

Try living with him John! All I can say is poor Booby!

The Mirror has reported today that Celebrity Big Brother winner, Shilpa Shetty, will be appearing as one of ten panelists on an episode of BBC’s Question Time next week.

It’s nice to see Shilpa being offered some serious work that will allow her to display her intellect, I wonder if they will have Jade on next week?

Celebrity Big Brother winner, Shilpa Shetty, appeared in Leicester yesterday to launch a charitable foundation for raising awareness of the AIDS virus in India.

Speaking to visitors who had each paid £5 to see the star, Shetty said of her foundation: “It is a cause that has been very, very close to my heart. Not just now but for the last four years.

“India is the second largest affected country in the world with the AIDS. So I think it`s important to do something about it and it`s every person`s right to live with dignity in our country, even it`s a person who is HIV positive.

“It`s very difficult to do that only because there`s no awareness and I am going to do my bit to support that and I think starting this organisation is really going to help us try a new beginning.”

Shilpa Shetty has quashed rumours that she would be doing a reunion show with Jade Goody and the other girls from the Celebrity Big brother house.

She told Reveal: “I am no Samaritan – I’m just human. I anyone thinks I can resurrect somebody’s career or character, they’re wrong, it’s just not possible for me to do.�

“If I need to speak to Jade, I don’t need to do it as a publicity stunt – I’ll do it in private, between ourselves.�

She added: “I haven’t heard from any of the girls since leaving the house. They haven’t tried to contact me. I think at the moment they are probably too ashamed to face me.�

The Star has reported today that Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty, has been signed up for a new movie co-starring Hugh Grant.

An insider told the newspaper: “It’s going to be hotter than a vindaloo… with dancing, singing and a spicy story to boot.â€?

The source added: “She is a huge fan and is overjoyed at the thought of working with him. There will be some smouldering on-screen chemistry for sure.

“She brings all the glamour and he brings the laughs and with the headlines they both generate, the film is going to be huge.�

He continued: “It is the story of a successful and charming, but shy, Bollywood diva who can’t find the right man, until she links up with a producer who promises to help her crack the British and US markets… and they instantly click of course.â€?

What a scoop! First she wins Big Brother and now she gets to star alongside my favouritist floppy haired actor ever! I wish I was Shilpa Shetty.

Celebrity Big Brother has been hit by yet another racism scandal as police investigate a claim that Shilpa Shetty was caled a p**i during her time in the house.

The Sun have reported today that an anonymous person went to police with a note allegedly written by a Big Brother producer that said “Some dodgy clips DO exist. We are f***ed.�

The note also alleges that Shilpa was called a “f***ing Paki� in one incident.

And it tells how a song was sung, with the words: “This house used to be happy, until that f***ing —�.

A source said: “Big Brother staff write notes to each other on running orders and suchlike when in the galleries or editing suites, or anywhere they have to keep quiet.

“So it’s an important document and one the police are taking very seriously. If those clips do exist the programme makers would have hell to pay.�

The note was scribbled on the back of a production schedule for the episode of BBLB — hosted by Dermot O’Leary — on Sunday, January 21.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: “The producers have checked the editorial log and assured us there is no evidence of the word alleged in the note ever being used by any of the housemates.�

Police have asked for the alleged footage but Channel 4 are denying that it exists.

Is this a scam or did it really happen? If it did you can bet that Endemol and the people involved will do their best to hide the damning footage, but to be fair this could be a scam for publicity purposes. If it was an actual event I bet that Jack, Jade and Co are shaking in their boots at the thought of this footage getting out!

Shilpa Shetty’s biography is rumoured to be destined for our shelves as early as March, less than two months after she won Celebrity Big Brother 2007.

A publishing insider told The Daily Express: “Publisher John Blake is releasing a biography of Shilpa on March 19.

“The book is described as ‘affectionate and revealing’ and Asda has an interest in promoting it.”

Yesterday, Celebrity Big Brother winner, Shilpa Shetty gave her first interview exclusively to The Mirror. During the interview Shilpa was shown extensive footage of the bullying and alleged racist comments that had been made, most of the footage she had not yet seen.

Shilpa was angry at the footage she watched, she was hurt and most of all she couldn’t understand what she had done that warranted this type of behaviour from the three girls.

In the end Shilpa seemed to blame Jo and Jade more than Danielle. She claimed that Jade Goody and Jo O’Meara were pathetic specimens who should get professional help but thinks that Danielle was fuelled by stupidity and wanting to be accepted by the crowd.

Shilpa will move past this fiasco and her career will become stronger because of it. I doubt that Jo, Jade or Danielle will be able to say the same.

And the job offers have started to roll in….

The word is that Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty is to be offered a lead role in a new BBC comedy – set in an Indian call centre.

Sanjeev Bhaskar, star of The Kumars at No 42 is one of the scriptwriters for the show and he was in Mumbai yesterday for talks with Shilpa’s agents.

He said: “She would be perfect for the show. If she is keen, I will write her a part.

“She has shown she appeals to the British viewing public and that cannot be ignored now by screenwriters back in London.”

I actually think Shilpa would be fabulous in a comedy type show and this might be the break she needs to make it in the UK.

Danielle Lloyd has reportedly hired a team of lawyers to probe the Big Brother camera footage and see if she was misrepresented by producers.

Danielle was shown on the show making various offensive comments about fellow housemate Shilpa Shetty while in the house and now it seems as though she wants a way to clear her name.

I can see why Danielle would motivated to do this and its not beyond the realms of possibility that Big Brother producers would choose certain pieces of footage to use in their nightly show in order to make certain housemates look bad and certain situations look worse than they are.

However, Danielle cannot deny making the comments that we all heard. She cannot deny being part of a nasty and bitchy clique. The argument over oxo cubes was aired unedited and the role that each housemate played was very clear. Danielle may have claimed that she laughed out of nerves, but did she say “that made my night” out of nerves too? I think not.

Danielle may have been made into a bigger character than she was by Big Brothers editing, maybe this investigation will show that other people were as bad if not worse than her. However she cannot deny what she did say and pushing this issue will keep it in everyones mind for longer.

Danielle should now try to rebuild her life and learn from her mistakes. If I was her, I would let this go!

Well, did Jade Goody’s career really hang in the balance of Shilpa’s interview? I don’t know, but what a final interview!

How would you feel, to come out of the house and see a load of footage of people backstabbing you in the nastiest way possible? The repeat of that fight? Shilpa seemed totally devastated by the video footage that she had to see, and only really recovered when Davina changed the subject.

However, she defended Jade and said that she didn’t think her actions were racist, although I’m not sure she was totally convincing, especially after seeing that shock footage.

Davina managed to spend the rest on the interview focusing on Shilpa’s highlights in the house and some of the culture changes she experienced, including looking after herself.

All in all, a very good final, but I would have liked to see the housemates together on the gangway after the interview, as they’ve done in previous years. Of course, Goody and O’Meara are missing, but why should that spoil the fun?

Maybe Jo O’Meara senses that all is not well on the outside, last night she was having difficulty sleeping because her mind was racing. Luckily, Shilpa Shetty was on hand to calm her nerves.

“You ok?” Shilpa asked, joining Jo on her bed. “It’s just I’m really nervous… I can’t switch my mind off…” Jo explained before asking: “Can’t you sleep either?”

“I was thinking about how to re-invent you!” Shilpa giggled. “I swear to God, I was thinking of what outfit to give you… you are so good!” she said, bigging up her housemate.

“I’m so worried… but I don’t know why,” Jo whimpered.

“You’re just anxious,” Shilpa told her, comforting her with an arm rub. “Everything is well outside, just keep saying that. There must be so many people out there who would love to be in your shoes…”

“I don’t want to be in my shoes. Not at the moment,” Jo replied softly.

“Shuuut up!” Shilpa said, trying to cheer Jo up. “This is a good thing for you!”

“I’m panicking about when it’s my time to go through the door.” Jo finally revealed.

“You have a great body, you have a great attitude, you have a great voice…” Shilpa told her sincerely. “If you have it, show it. You have a great ass, show it!”

“You’re very sweet,” Jo eventually smiled.

Many people have wondered what Jade Goody would get paid for her first exclusive interview since leaving the house. Many figures were mentioned, Radio One’s Aled Haydn Jones even thought Jade would get in the region of one million pounds.

But in a move of PR genius, Jade has donated her interview fee from todays piece in the News Of The World to charity and has not profited from it at all.

Jade’s £50,000 fee will go to charity—along with every penny of her £50,000 Big Brother fee. The £100,000 total will be divided between good causes nominated by Shilpa and Jade.

In the interview Jade admits that many of her comments were indeed racist and that she, Danielle and Jo are guilty of bullying and intimidating behaviour. She stated:

“I hold my hand up to my comments and to people reading them or hearing them and thinking I’m a racist. I can understand why those words would look racist because I didn’t get on particularly well with Shilpa. It’s offensive to her and her culture. I didn’t think poppadom was a racist word. I now know that things that I may not think are racist can actually be racist. It’s my own fault for not knowing enough about other people’s cultures.”

When Jade was told that Shilpa has at one point said that she thought she was a victim of racism in the house Jade commented:

“She was a victim of bullying and racism, yes. I can understand why she would have said that.”

However Jade claims that she did not realise that she could be so intimidating, and blames a lot of her reactions to her past.

“My anger when I watched it on the screen shocked me. I didn’t like it. I didn’t know that my presence could be so intimidating or bullying.

I don’t want that, but I don’t know any other way to argue.

I’ve never blamed my past for anything I’ve done, but I don’t know any other way. My only way to argue is to shout—to get louder and louder so that I can’t hear what they’re saying.

It’s the way I am. I didn’t know it was a problem until I watched it. I don’t want people to be scared of me, or think that I’m intimidating.”

The unfortunate thing about his whole sorry episode is that the three b***hes off CBB are actually a good representation of many young British girls…

Watching them, I am instantly reminded of girls I went to school with (all within the same sort of age group as Jade and co)… Aside from the racism issue, what is happening is the dominant girl (who is obviously resorting to dominanace/bullying because of her shortcomings) is leading her pack of inferior girls (ie. less famous in this situation) into targeting a member of the house who is easy to target because she is the least similar to them… This happens in schools and communities all over Britain all the time. It does not have to be about race.. anything that makes a person stand out, or different to the dominant ‘pack’ can trigger this behaviour.

The girls have targeted Shilpa because she is the least recognisable.. none of them know who she is. To the b***hy gang, she might as well be a punter off the street. They deem themselves as more important because they’d heard of eachother before, and some of them even suspect she may be a fake. They seek comfort by targeting her because of their own insecurities… to respect Shilpa as an artist is difficult for them because they are only famous for themselves, not their talent or work (or at least, not work of any artistic credibility)

Jade and co have twisted Shilpa’s words to justify their awful behaviour.. saying sorry isn’t good enough. This behaviour is unacceptable in any circumstances, and should not be tolerated, as it would not be in any British workplace. I do not particularly like Shilpa, but in any case, it is never justifiable to attack people, especially over petty issues.

Danielle came into the house saying she wanted to show people a ‘different side to her’.. well done Dani… you’ve shown a public who were indifferent to you that you are a silly, easily led little idiot, who will form her opinions based on those of the dominant member of the group, and try to make amends quietly behind your ‘friends’ backs… and then backtrack !!

Watching this reinforces why my friends are in their 30s – 60s (I am 24) and why I have chosen to lose contact with my peers from school. This sort of behaviour is terribly common, and I myself exerienced a similar situation with a dominant girl and her gang at school.

I work with many young people who come from Africa who have spoken to me this week about their bewilderment and disgust at this behaviour… I am proud to be a young person who does not follow the pack, and at the same time, I am sad that my peers do not do the same. I was brought up in a racist family in a BNP area, moved to a predominantly Asian area of Birmingham aged 18 of my own accord, and found friends, culture and understanding.

There is NO excuse for ignorance.. These girls are a disgrace.

The only good thing that can come of this is that Jade Goody fades back into obscurity… she has NO endearing qualities and NO talent.
