As fans of the show will know, in order to win a luxury food budget this week, all the housemates must answer ‘Yes’ when asked to carry out tasks.

And today, BB is set to ask Faye if she’ll have the word ‘Yes’ tattooed on her arm. If she says she will, right before the tattooist’s needle touches her arm, he or she will produce a rubber stamp instead…

It’s also been revealed that earlier on, Tom O’Connell became the second housemate to incur a fail on the task when he refused to have a “short-back-and-sides” haircut. Harry Blake incurred the first fail when he refused to pose for a Gay Times photo shoot.

Also today, Rebeckah and Heaven will be asked if they’d like to see video footage of who nominated them this week.

View the original post Big Brother 2011: New ‘Yes’ shopping task twists revealed on Unreality TV

Bright and early this morning, Big Brother called all housemates to the sofas as soon as they woke up and introduced this week’s shopping task – YES!

Over the next two days, housemates will be asked a series of questions. To pass this week’s shopping task, all housemates must do is answer YES to this question and then follow through with whatever they have been asked to do.

Because this task is all about being positive, Big Brother really doesn’t want to hear the world NO. If a housemate answers NO to Big Brother, they will incur a fail…

Big Brother has placed a safe in the Living Room, with an envelope locked inside. Written on a sheet of paper inside the envelope is the number of times Big Brother is prepared to hear the word NO during this task. At the end of the task, housemates will be given a code to open the safe and reveal this number.

If housemates say NO to Big Brother more times than the number written inside the safe, then they will fail this task, and receive a basic shopping budget.

If they do not exceed the number of no’s inside the safe they will pass the task and receive a luxury shopping budget.

Today’s YES tasks are:
- 9.30am: Mark is asked to be naked for the duration of the task
- 10.30am: Alex is asked to have a spray tan…then another…then another…
- 12.30am: Anton is asked to electric shock Maisy.
- 2pm: Jay is offered a chicken…then another…then another…
- 4pm: Harry becomes a gay icon at a hunt themed Gay Times photo shoot.
- 8pm: Rebeckah must choose which housemate she wants to lose their suitcase for the rest of the series. Everyone else will think it an eviction.
- 11pm: Aaron is asked if he wants a one night stand with a female housemate. He must stand at the end of their bed in the dark all night long.

Yesterday, as the shopping task drew to a close, two housemates were still trapped in the Uber Cougar’s Lair, but not for long!

As Andrew and Dave patiently awaited rescue, the Superhero girls were all set to complete their tasks and save the day… and the boys.

But first, here’s how the other challenges in the task worked out…

Josie, aka The Condiment Killer, successfully made 10 hot dogs in 3 minutes, whilst running on a treadmill. She chose to release Steve from the Lair.

Ife Incredible failed to hold a giant car above her head for 5 minutes, and was therefore the only girl who lost her task.

Rachel Rocket completed 5 more Rocket Rescues. Therefore, Rachel successfully completed all five of her Rocket rescues today!

So once all the challenges were complete, the girls had to combine their superpowers to set Andrew and Dave free. You can see them doing so by clicking here.

And the best news for the housemates is that they won £500 for the shopping budget!

Channel 4 have just released a few details about this week’s shopping task, and it seems that the female housemates will don costumes as befitting, ‘Attack of the Uber Cougar: Super Gals to the Rescue!’

News of the impending task spread quickly this morning when housemates were woken by BB playing Bonnie Tyler’s hit song, Holding Out for a Hero into the house by way of an alarm.

Ife then discovered a sign on Mario’s former Mole Hole which read ‘Uber Cougar’s Lair’, so the excited speculation began as to what was going on…

However, it seems that the heat and the lack of cigs is telling on the group and Rodrigo last night launched into Charlie after he apparently went a bit too far with a food fight.

And the house is firmly split into two camps as of last night with half of them backing Sree to stay and the other half expressing their support for Halfwit…

Dogface, Karly and Siavash all said that they hope Sree stays and Halfwit got a right royal telling off from Karly who told him he’s two faced. Halfwit later told BB in the diary room that he’s “seen the bad side of Karly”.

Well, a lack of nicotine is guaranteed to bring out the bad side in anyone, but he had allies in Marcus and Noirin who told him they hope he stays on Friday.

The delighted housemates were told that the results of their efforts at producing Italian artwork had been judged by an independent art critic as being better than those of a six year old child whose painting was compared to theirs.

As all the housemates waited nervously for the result, Siavash joked, “You don’t look very confident” while Noirin admitted that she felt nervous, adding, “Why do I feel nervous?”

The plasma screen then came on and showed the judge in the task room as he viewed Marcus and Noirin’s efforts alongside the child’s painting.

Siavash noted that the six year old’s effort was “f***ing good” and said, “That looks a lot better than yours!”

However, the judge said that Marcus’s ‘masterpiece’ had “a very fierce narrative element” and that Noirin’s was “surreal; poster-like and well-controlled”.

The critic then announced that Marcus’s painting was the best, closely followed by Noirin’s which elicited cheers and whoops from all the housemates.

Looks like Marcus and Noirin’s heads are going to be just that bit bigger today then!

Throughout the shopping task, Big Brother will provide him with a “series of fashion-forward outfits” and when he hears Vogue by Madonna being played into the house, he must get on the podium and strike a pose, until BB plays Vogue again..

And it’s a fairly sure bet that BB will play it often and at times when he’s furthest away from his little podium… mwahhhhhhh!

Big Brother has revealed this week’s shopping task, and it’s all about the Tudors…

Siavash ran to the diary room to collect the task instructions, therefore automatically putting himself in the role of Henry VIII. He must now choose six of the housemates to be his wives and two more to be courtiers.

All nine of them will live a life of luxury in King Henry’s Court and the remaining housemates will be cooks with the exception of one who must take on a ‘special role’. However, none of the housemates yet know that this ‘special role’ is the role of Village Idiot!

The house is being transformed into “Tudor England, complete with a court and Tudor Kitchen”. Here’s what Channel 4 say about the task…

“Access to the normal house kitchen is forbidden and housemates must only eat the food set in the Tudor Kitchen, which is all in its most basic form (rabbits, chickens, carp, seasonal vegetables and fruit).

“The cooks must spend their time preparing food for the feast on the second day, using real Tudor recipes, and all other housemates must take part in it and pass their tasks throughout the two days.

“If at any time housemates must be punished, the Village Idiot will act as their whipping boy and will take whatever Tudor punishment Big Brother metes out to him, such as wearing a barrel or going in the stocks.”

Well it sounds better than most of the tasks so far! More task news as we get it.
