Whilst filming for an upcoming episode of celebrity Wife Swap for Channel 4, 80’s pop star Sinitta gained ten pounds in weight due to the diet and lifestyle of Coronation Street actor, Bruce Jones.
As part of the show Sinitta had tro live with Bruce for a week, and he had her eating fish and chips and regularly hitting the pub.
“They are very different people and it wasn’t easy for her,” a source told the Sunday Mirror. “She told him to get a grip on his drinking. He is just like Les Battersby. He took her down the pub and had her eating fish and chips and drinking Guinness. Now she is on a strict detox diet.” Continue reading ‘Wife Swap: Sinitta Puts On 10 Pounds While Living With Bruce Jones‘ »

Singer and TV personality Sinitta has revealed that Simon Cowell is a very bad influence on her two adopted children.
Sinitta told The Sun:
“Simon’s their godfather, I wanted him to feel included.”
“He’s a destructive influence, though! He’s made it his sole purpose to disrupt and undermine everything I have taught them!
“When there’s something they don’t want to eat, Simon will take it and spit it out on the floor, so of course they copy him.”
Sinitta seems to have kept herself in the public eye for the last few years, purely by piggy backing on Mr Cowells success and by selling stories on her famous ex-boyfriend. If I was Simon, and if Sinitta is half as annoying in real life as she is on TV, I think I would start to freeze her out!

Reports have emerged today, suggesting that former Coronation Street actor, Bruce Jones and 80’s pop sensation Sinitta have become the latest celebs to sign up for Channel 4’s Wife Swap.
“Les Battersby and Sinitta may seem like a match made in hell but we reckon it will be telly heaven,” a source told The Daily Star.
“Bruce is keen to do this. He feels people need to see the real him. He is aware that plenty of people think of him as Les Battersby.”

The X Factor series has barely even kicked off and already I am fed up hearing Sinitta’s caustic comments about X Factor judge, Danni Minogue.
Sinitta has spoken to various tabloids about the fact that she should have been the X Factor’s fourth judge, except that Simon Cowell was too scared of her winning……yeah right! Continue reading ‘Please Sinitta, GO AWAY!‘ »

Sinitta has revealed that she recently asked Simon Cowell if she could come on board as the fourth X Factor judge. He turned her down, but she is convinced that he said no because he was scared she would win.
Sinitta told BANG Showbiz:
“I asked Simon if I could be the fourth judge, but he wouldn’t let me. He said it was because he needed me to mentor his acts when he was doing ‘American Idol’ in the States.
“He told me he couldn’t do it without me and that I was Robin to his Batman, but I know he was just scared that I would beat him.
“In fact I think I even have a better musical intuition than Simon. I saw that Daniel and Natasha Bedingfield would be huge talents and told him to sign them, but he didn’t listen to me and they both went on to be very successful.”
Speaking at the skymag launch party at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom last night, she said: “I would definitely be better than Dannii. I don’t think she takes anything away from the show, I just don’t think she brings anything new.
“She is just like a mini Sharon, she even looks like her a bit. She is too polite and mimics Sharon’s compassion.
“They needed a new flavour and I would have brought that.”
Seriously? Is Sinitta out of her mind? Did she watch herself back on Grease Is The Word? Simon has shown his usual common sense by not letting Sinitta have anything other than a minor role in one of his biggest TV shows. As a judge, she would be awful. On Grease she was more interested in her own outfits and hairstyles than in the contestants performances.
Simon made the right call once again!
Grease is the Word judge, Sinitta has admitted that she once stole an outfit from pop legend, Kylie Minogue.
She told Attitude magazine: “I stole one of Kylie’s costumes. When we toured together in Japan we were both given these kimonos and I just thought Kylie’s was nicer than mine so I got one of my backing dancers to take Kylie’s and put mine in my place.
“I still have it, and in fact I wore it on Grease Is The Word. It was many years ago, but now she knows.”
After Simon Cowell’s recent criticism of the ITV TV show, Grease Is The Word, it seems that David Ian cannot wait to praise the show and his fellow judges.

Grease Is The Word judge, Sinitta, will have the benefit of two bulky bodyguards on the ITV TV show tonight as she wears a £250,000 necklace.
Sinitta will be wearing the diamond and platinum necklace on behalf of charity Caudwell Children who will be auctioning it off later this month.
An insider said: “Because of safety fears producers have hired two bodyguards.
“They are under instructions to stay by her side all night to ensure that the necklace does not go missing.”
Sinitta has spoken about her hurt feelings after reading the derogatory remakrs made about her by TV host, Graham Norton.
“He’s just bloody rude,” Sinitta told the Daily Star Sunday. “I’ve never even met him but I could definitely tear a strip off him if I did. He obviously feels very threatened by me and our show. But all I’d like to say to him is, ‘Both of us are girls, but only one of us is a lady - and it’s not you!’ Continue reading ‘Grease: Sinitta Upset By Graham Nortons Comments‘ »
From the thousands of people who initially auditioned, tonight just seven couples remain and their fate is quite literally in your hands.
With the shock departure last week of favourites Kate Somerset-How and Tom Bradley, the contestants know they need to up their game to win public votes and stay on in the competition.
This week the theme is classic movie songs and with a focus on vocal performance, the contestants are feeling the pressure.
Judging are the celebrity panel, Theatre Producer, David Ian, Choreographer to the stars, Brian Friedman, West End star Sinitta and Showbiz Producer Mr David Gest but ultimately the decision rests in the publics hands. At the end of tonight, the couple with the lowest public vote will leave the competition for good. (See below for Judges comments and performance running order).
