Sinitta last night became the second person to be voted off I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Her time on the ITV show was short, as she was a late entrant to camp a few days after the series started earlier this month. However she certainly made her mark, becoming well known for her screaming and whining during bushtucker trials and also for her fake phobias – Gillian McKeith style.

Last night the mum of two received the fewest public votes and was told by Ant and Dec that she would be leaving the jungle camp. The news seemed to spark relief in the former X Factor star and she told the presenting duo that she was glad she ‘faced her fears’ over the last week.

Speaking in her exit interview, Simon Cowell’s ex explained:

“To leave when I’m actually starting to love it is such a great feeling. I wanted what happened to happen, to face my fears and not be afraid of everything. “I was starting to really love it.”

Pat Sharp was a critic of Sinitta and blasted her whining and complaining on various occasions but she defended his actions saying:

“He wants to win, he’s not afraid of anything so when we all start fussing about stuff to him it’s like, ‘Oh come on, it’s only a bug’.

“He doesn’t really understand people’s deep-rooted fears.”

The I’m A Celebrity campmates were sat together talking about Christmas shopping last night, when Sinitta made Mark Wright a very strange offer.

“I love Christmas shopping” declared the TOWIE star, adding:

“I can even picture what I’ll wear when I get back home, roll neck jumper, jeans, boots, gloves and woolly hat, that’s how excited I am”.

“But I’ve got no girl to do it with though” the sad star continued.

“I need a lady friend, Sinitta, will you be my lady friend?” he asked.

“Yes, please, can you imagine, I could be your sugar mama” the X Factor star laughed.

Mark Wright turned into a mad emotional wreck screaming for Dougie to help him during the fright filled overnight I’m A Celebrity challenge this evening and Sinitta became the first celebrity to shout “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here” when fear got the better of her during the battle of wills trial that which could gain their team immunity from being voted out first.

The orange team were at a disadvantage for only winning one of the three previous Beat the Bugs rounds starting with just 30 minutes on their clock as opposed to the blue team who had earned themselves an hour.

Each team set off in the night to the middle of the jungle where they were to spend as long as possible lying in a Perspex box bed accompanied, of course, by their worst fears – claustrophobia, spiders, rats and snakes. The team that clocked up the most hours won immunity from the public voting them off.

Each team could pick what critter to place in their opposing team’s beds, so the orange team immediately decided rats for Mark, while the blue team chose cockroaches for Sinitta and snakes for Antony.

A very scared Sinitta took her time before getting into bed claiming the night was “like a Freddie Kruger movie”. She tried to shield herself with a blanket against what was going to appear through the holes but was soon shouting to get out – and was sent back to camp. “As we approached our beds I felt my legs go and I thought I’d pass out, I couldn’t breathe properly and it reminded me of when I was a little girl and my mum used to have to search under the bed, beds are supposed to be safe places and this was my worst nightmare.

Next out was Antony who was freaked out by having three large snakes as bed mates, especially when one went to toilet on his leg. “Oh god, oh god, my plan has backfired and I’ve now got a snake on top of me” as the python stretched out the length of the soap star. “Get me out; I can’t cope with them anymore, ” he pleaded.

Wearing his bandana over his face, Mark squealed for most of the night saying: “Dougie, I can’t do this”, as more and more rats ran into his bed, “I’ve got to get out, I can’t sleep, they are my worse thing in the world, they are crawling into my pyjamas, they are getting more confident, I can’t do it! I’m going to be sick, they stink and are doing poo’s all over my bed. This is the worst thing I’ve had to do, ever.”

Emily had been very brave spending the night with lots of crabs but had a panic attack and started sobbing. “I don’t like being in the box, I’m claustrophobic, I fell asleep but when I woke up my heart started going but I will stay.”

Chrissy was the first of the blue team to leave after bravely bearing hundreds of cockroaches pouring over her and crawling into her ears, she laid completely still all night in focused silence.

“I’m freezing and I feel like Beetlejuice,” she said.

Fatima endured rats nibbling at her and was called Ratima by her camp mates. Lorraine had yabbies while Willie got all giggly and twitchy with cockroaches. A very cool Stefanie was accompanied by crabs. Willie said: “I wish I had crabs”. Antony warned him to be careful for what he wished for.
As dawn rose over the jungle, the remaining celebrities were released from their boxes and returned to camp. The results showed that the blue team were the victors and saved from the public vote with 35 hours and 56 minutes against the orange team’s 29 hours and 22 minutes.

Pat Sharp lost his rag with his fellow celebrities on tonight’s I’m A Celebrity episode, claiming that X Factor star Sinitta was milking her fears and admitting that he is angry at Lorraine for being too nice.

The former Funhouse star was left fuming following the live trial which saw a terrified Sinitta win five stars for the 12 hungry celebrities. He blasted:

“It pisses me off and I don’t give a flying f*** anymore. Whatever phobia you have we know that these (creatures) will not hurt you so when you are the turn just get in there and do what they want you to do. If you come out being all scary just to get in the papers or whatever, then that is pathetic.”

“I think there’s a bit of ‘ooooh look at me’, she’s not stupid, and she knows how the world works. She’s milking it. She might have tried her best but it just wasn’t good enough, it’s about mentality, you are either strong minded or you are not. I would not enjoy any of the things she’s had to endure but I would still not look like a moron doing them.”

“She looks ridiculous. She’s wimping around on this show,” Pat told the silenced celebrities Mark, Dougie, Chrissie and Jessica Jane before starting on Lorraine.

“Lorraine is the nicest woman I’ve ever met. Her holding a teddy is sweet but it doesn’t work in here, she’s not four years old, she’s 60 and she wraps it up and puts it to bed. I don’t get it. There is no room in here for nice a person, that’s naff, saccharine, sweet.”

“Her teddy is called Tedward, given the choice I would strangle Tedward over Jedward – that makes you realise how angry I am.”

His rant was interrupted by Lorraine who peered out from the sin bin and asked him for a cup of water and he told her she was a nice person “but you are too nice for me Lorraine. Don’t walk past just saying look at the lovely trees.”

Lorraine apologised and said:

“That’s how I’m dealing with it and I’m sorry if that gets on people’s nerves, I will try to keep it to myself a bit more.”

But Pat wasn’t finished, his tirade continued:

“I’m just being honest, I don’t care if everyone hates me for it, they can kick me out. I don’t care if people write me a letter and say I shouldn’t have said things about them on the show. I don’t give a flying f***. Oh hell, I’ll give you nice, I’ll shove it us your tush!”

While Sinitta may have been proud and pleased with herself for managing to get five stars in the live I’m A Celebrity Bush Tucker Trial last night, Pat Sharp and Jessica-Jane Clement were less than impressed.

Losing patience with her fears and phobias and failure to bring home the bacon, Pat admitted that he thinks she is probably acting up a lot during her time away from camp, saying:

“I wonder if she’s acting it up a little bit, it’s just too much. Put your hand in, hurry up, take the star out and more food. It’s not brain surgery is it? It is really annoying me. The amount of food we are going to get with five stars for 12 people is a joke, an absolute joke.”

“If she carries on like this they will choose her for everything because she’s just a wimp. I’m sure she lives an incredibly charmed life and goes to Barbados with Simon Cowell at Christmas but at the end of the day she should just get on with it.”

Pat’s frustration was echoed by Jessica-Jane after the trial, she added:

“I’ve never seen anyone like that, she went about it in completely the wrong way. I know she has phobias but I wonder if she’s acting it up a little bit, it’s just too much.”

“We are starving, we are so hungry now. You have to think about the food and I don’t know that Sinitta is doing that right now. She’s thinking about fears too much. The public are voting for Sinitta because she’s entertaining to watch but if she doesn’t want to do the trials any more then she’s got to stop acting so scared. The others keep telling her it’s alright and understanding how scared she is but she needs someone to give her a little shake and tell her she is capable of doing it.”

Sinitta conversely was pleased with her live ‘shopping’ trip around Horrods.

“I’m quite proud of myself even though I’m not coming back with a meal for everyone, I feel good, happy and elated because something is happening,” she admitted.

What a pity that her campmates don’t agree!

We’ve just waved bye to Craig Colton over on X Factor, (it should’ve been Janet), and it’s now time to check out a mammoth ninety minutes of jungle action from I’m A Celebrity!

The stars are awaking, the sun is shining and everybody’s in high spirits after their night out at the jungle pub. Mark volunteers to cook breakfast, and chucks far too much rice into the boil. Antony takes over, even after declaring he wouldn’t be cooking anymore, and both have a little disagreement. Is the bromance dead already?

Time for Sinitta to go for her trial! Ant, Dec and a cage await her in the jungle clearing. This is the ‘Hellivator’. As Sinitta steps in, she’s shaking and rubbing her arms in order to prepare herself for what lies in wait in the depths of the water she’s being lowered into. After a bit of a slow start, Sinitta is locked into place, and the trial begins.

Or so I thought. Sinitta takes around three minutes just to open the first hole in the wall, which houses toads and her first star. Almost halfway into the trial, and we move onto hole number two which has a number of snakes slinking around. She passes and moves onto number three, the baby crocs. She collects another star and then says the famous words, “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!” Poor show, Sinitta. Two meals for camp. “It’s just a waste of a task if she keeps getting voted for” – my mum raises a brilliant point. For the sake of the viewing public, vote somebody else in for the coming trials!

Now a segment for the men and the women! Mark Wright, Emily Scott, Dougie Poynter and Jessica-Jane Clement all scantily clad in the jungle pool. Definitely a sight for sore eyes, but if Emily doesn’t stop getting closer to MY MAN, there will be trouble. (I wrote scantily clad before Dec said it, just saying).

Now something a little less inviting… Willie Carson’s got his boobs out! He tells the celebs that the camp will be split up into two teams of six. Each day for the next three, the team will face a jungle game show where the winners of two of those three games will become immune from the first jungle vote off. Team leaders Stefanie and Pat each choose five people to join them, and the first game gets underway.

Who more perfect to host than Neighbour’s own Harold Bishop? ‘Beat The Bugs’ is the name of the game, and ‘Dart Attack’ is today’s challenge! Pat and Dougie will go up against Willie and Antony. Yep, you heard it right; Stefanie thinks an old pensioner and camp soap actor would be better fitted at throwing darts than an Olympic winner…

Pat and Dougie won the challenge, and along with an advantage in the next game, they had a treat waiting for them back at camp. Not only this, but the losing team were sent off to the ‘sin bin’ – their home for the night. The six miserable sinners had to stay in the prison, and Lorraine got a little teary eyed when Antony forgot to bring her her hairbrush. It saddened me to see Lorraine upset – I think she’s an absolute star!

The winning team were given their prize, which included mugs of hot chocolate alongside marshmallows and brownies. However, they were understandably told not to share any of it with the other six campmates.

Now onto what should be tonight’s most exciting segment – the live bush tucker trial; ‘Horrods’! The public chose Sinitta to face the trial – you all clearly didn’t listen to my advice. You’ll regret it!

Everybody’s favourite jungle medic, Bob is on hand to dish out some words of wisdom to Sinitta, and Sinitta has a look in her eye which made me think she’s actually really going to give this a good go. I was wrong.

The trial begins in the first department in the jungle store – the jewellery section. Two snakes have bangles coiled round their body, which Sinitta must remove. Plenty of screaming, shaking and jumping around along with aggressive hand movements, even when repeatedly told to ‘take it nice and easy’ ensured she took both stars from this section.

Next on to the food department where Sinitta is asked to taste two delicacies. In order to get a meal for each, she must hold first a Yabby in her mouth for twenty seconds. She manages ten seconds and then spits the poor Yabby onto the ground below.

Now onto the luggage section where three suitcases will drop nasties onto Sinitta, along with stars! Well, they should, but of course Sinitta is so panicky that she passes on this section entirely.

The Aquarium is next, and I’m crying laughing at the fact Sinitta nearly just threw a Yabby at the cameraman! She gets one star from this section, bringing her to a total of three.

Santa is awaiting Sinitta, and he has a special surprise in his sack! Inside his gift is hundreds of cockroaches and a star which Sinitta takes home.

She then moves onto the toy section where she jumps into a ball pool of gunk, adding just one more star to her collection. She wins a grand total of five stars, which means camp will receive five meals!

Tomorrow is sure to hold more surprises for the celebrities, and you can catch all the action from 9PM!

Sinitta is turning out to be this year’s Gillian McKeith and in her two days in the I’m A Celebrity camp, she has been voted to do two bushtucker trials.

The former X Factor star makes things worse for herself, with her constant screaming, panicking and moaning and tonight’s trial was no different from the one before.

Ant and Dec explained that the mum of two would be locked in an elevator which would descend underground into a pit which was filled with water. On the walls of the pit were eight holes, each containing at least one star –but guarded by a variety of jungle critters. Two holes were above the waterline, but two would be below it meaning that to get to the lower ones, she would have to go underwater to retrieve the stars. The Trial would also be conducted in the dark –and there was a button that she could press to turn the light on, although as Dec pointed out “it was unreliable!”

The pop singer was jittery from the start, admitting:

““I don’’t know if I can go underground, and underwater and lock in and holes and stuff all at the same time!”

She entered the elevator cage and hummed to herself to keep calm as it was lowered into the water tank.

Standing shoulder deep in the water, she shrieked as she released the lid off the first hole. She constantly shouted to Ant and Dec for reassurance but eventually retrieved a star from the hole which was full of cane toads.

She went on to the second box and asked what was in it. When Ant and Dec told her that it contained snakes, she squealed and refused to put her hand in, instead turning to her third box.

Again she asked what it contained, but Ant said “I told you last time and it didn’t help”. Sinitta put her hand inside the box and retrieved one star, missing the other one that lay next to it.

Something brushed against her hand and that was enough for Sinitta as she shouted “I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here!” and ended the Trial.

“”Two stars. Not great,”” Ant admitted.

But somehow, Sinitta didn’t look too upset. Maybe she’s used to being starving!

Sinitta has confessed that she has her eyes on a new man, her fellow I’m A Celebrity contestant Mark Wright!

The former X Factor star has been hanging off Simon Cowell’s coattails for years, making a living off the fact that she dated the music mogul on and off for almost twenty years, however she may actually be about to move on.

Despite being 45 years old, and therefore 21 years his senior, the mum of two confessed that she thinks TOWIE star Mark is totally ‘gorgeous.’

The brunette beauty said:

“Mark is gorgeous. He’s got the most gorgeous smile. He’s very sweet, warm and lovely.

“I don’t think he knows I’ve been tweeting about how cute he is, thank God.”

However, it seems that Mark has eyes for two other campmates and last night he admitted that he used to have a real crush on former lads mag pinup Emily Scott.

The ladies set pulses racing amongst the male celebrities and we have the pictures here!

Sinitta made her presence very much felt in the I’m A Celebrity jungle camp yesterday, waking all of her fellow celebrities up with a blood chilling scream before the sun had even rose.

The X Factor star yelled, because she thought there was an insect on her face, however Crissy Rock wasn’t so sure. She later said:

““I think it’s been one of the most difficult night’s sleep we’’ve had”. Sinitta screamed because she thought something had jumped on her but I think it was a leaf.””

Coronation Street star Antony Cotton was the next one up but he badly needed the loo and finding it wasn’t going to be easy.– No one had lit a tilly lamp and he couldn’t see a thing, never mind find the toilet. He later explained:

““So I woke up. I had no idea what the time was and I needed the loo and the first thing I did was look where the tilly lamp was and it was pitch black. So I reached for a candle but the moment I put it up to my face, it completely blinded everything else.”

Cotton got quite upset and angry and added:

“It was the first night I’’d not been the last to bed and every night I’ve gone round, lit tilly lamps to put by the fire. The only night I’ve gone to bed early, there was no tilly lamp lit and it just got on my nerves.”

““It’s like 11 other people moving into your front room and then you say ‘why’’ve you put that there? I just have, that’s the way I’ve done that!”

The incident spilled into the morning as Willie Carson then told Antony how a tilly lamp worked. “

The camp star errupted again, blasting:

“OK, we’ve been here over a week. I understand how to light a tilly lamp. It was pitch black. There was nothing lit”!”

After only just arriving in jungle camp, Sinitta was chosen yesterday by the public to compete in the I’m A Celebrity bushtucker trial Cable Car-Tastrophe.

The former X Factor star was stricken as she was raised above the hosts Ant and Dec and attempted to find eleven stars inside and outside a cable car hanging over the edge of valley.

The screaming singer encountered meal worms, green ants and lots more yucky stuff during the trial and even had a bit of a panic attack during her ordeal.
