Sophie Reade has won Big Brother 2009, she won with 74.4% of the final vote.

Sophie has been the bookies favourite to take the title all week, though at some points tonight I did wonder if Siavash would pip her to the post.

In the end Si finished second and was forced to face the crowds in his skintight leotard and black stilettos…..oh the disgrace.

Big Brother celebrates its tenth anniversary on the 18th July, so this week becomes a commemoration of some of the best tasks and moments of the show over the last ten years.

This week’s Task runs across four days, with Housemates playing to win a luxury food budget for the next week. Housemates must succeed in seven of the nine challenges in order to successfully pass the shopping task and receive a luxury budget of £5 per head per day for the next week.

DAY 2
BB5 – PIE JESU with Michelle
For her part of the task, Dogface will compete against BB5 housemate Michelle Bass in an unaccompanied sing-off of Pie Jesu – in a task that the public decide who wins. As part of the wedding Task in the 2004 series, Michelle sung a unique rendition of the hymn which she said she’d ‘put a bit of a Beyonce spin’ on.
Dogface was called into the Dairy Room to be told of her task. Hearing what she would be doing Dogface exclaimed “F**king hell! With my singing!” Halfwit reassured her that it was about performance not ability adding “just love it and people will love you”.

Michelle returned to the House this afternoon to sing Pie Jesu again. She said to Dogface before starting her version ‘I failed the task last time so I’m singing it properly this time, babe’. Dogface produced a nervous performance but Michelle said encouragingly ‘I think you’ve done alright’.

Viewers will decide whether Dogface passes or fails her part of this week’s shopping task. To win the challenge, Dogface’s performance must be deemed to be better than Michelle’s.

After watching both videos on www.channel4.com/bigbrother, Big Brother fans can use the ‘woo’ and ‘boo’ buttons underneath each video to cast their vote. The video with the highest ‘woo’ rating will be declared the winner. The voting ends at 9am on Thursday 16th July.

Yesterday BB1 winner Craig Phillips took on Halfwit in the assault course. BB2’s Dean took on Lisa in an attempt build the highest tower made of sugar cubes. Rodrigo then had to bet which of the BB3 Housemates (Sophie Pritchard, Lee Davey and Alex Sibley) would win in an egg and spoon race. Earlier today Noirin took on BB4’s Federico in a gymkhana competition. Federico also let slip to Noirin that Michael Jackson had passed away. On finding out the news the rest of the Housemates were shocked and reacted in disbelief. As the news sank in Housemates described Michael Jackson as a “great artist” and “brilliant dancer”. Noirin added “He was an icon of my time”. Siavash said it just “makes you realise all the things that are happening outside”. As Rodrigo and Noirin sat and chatted about what they could do to commemorate Michael Jackson Rodrigo said “you can’t even believe it, it is like it is not true”.

The BB6 Birthday Task will start shortly.

The divide between the ‘cool group’ and the not-cool group in the Big Brother house has become increasingly obvious with the ‘cool group’ of Lisa, Karly, Dogface and Charlie all nominating former friend Noirin.

Noirin who has been accused of being a ‘rabbit’ hopping from group to group has also riled her former friends by forming a close friendship with Marcus. Lisa in particular thinks that Noirin is leading him on and ‘knows exactly what she is doing’ and ‘knows she’s got him wrapped around her finger.”

Karly has become the target of the other group with Siavash, Halfwit and Marcus in particular believing the ‘leader’ Lisa uses Karly as a mouthpiece, and that she says things behind people’s backs.

Charlie, who was the first to nominate, chose Marcus and Noirin.

Karly and Noirin both received five nominations which means they face the public vote. They now face ther public vote alongside Siavash and Sophie who were put up by Big Brother yesterday.

Yesterday Siavash and Dogface were called into the diary room to be given their punishment for discussing nominations. Big Brother informed the pair that “In order to avoid facing the public vote automatically, you both must not swear until 3pm.

At 11.35am Dogface swore. In solidarity Siavash said “F**k it, if you go down, I’ll go down Soph”. Therefore both Dogface and Siavash failed to refrain from swearing. They will now face the public vote and eviction on Friday.

Big Brother are said to be searching through their list of potential housemates, trying to find one that matches up to Sophie Reade’s description of her ideal man.

As producers get ready to introduce some new housemates this week, they are keen to find someone to replace Kris in Sophie’s affections. Sophie recently said she was attracted to black men, which Kris was blatantly not, so bosses are trying to find a suitable match.

A source said: “The romance between Sophie and Kris has been suspicious all along. Sophie claims she likes black men best. Kris never fitted the bill. So if she starts flirting with the new man, then it could end in disaster for her.

“It’s in the show rulebook on page 22 that Big Brother won’t tolerate fake romances.”

Big Brother housemate Karly Ashworth has told Sophie Reade that she thinks Marcus will be evicted this Friday.

Sophie worried that she would be the one to leave but Karly said:

“You’re not going to go,” insisted Karly.

“I dreamt last night I went,” replied Sophie. “I was outside and some girls were sticking their fingers up at me.”

“Why would girls vote you? For what? You haven’t done anything. Why do you think that?” replied Karly.

Sophie worried that people may find her two faced.

“You’ve got nothing to worry about,” insisted Karly.

“I really hope its Marcus, I really do,” stated Sophie. “I think he thinks it could be him you know.”

Karly replied: “It’s definitely gonna be him. It is 120 per cent gonna be him. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think it’s gonna be him.”

Glamour Model Sophie Reade has nominated fellow Big brother housemate Marcus Akin for eviction. Her reason for choosing Marcus was that she is fed up listening to him talking about pleasuring himself.

Sophie told Big Brother: “My second nomination is going to be for Marcus because he’s just like really perverted.”

She added: “He’s always talking about going for a w***. I’m not even interested. He’s all talk and no action that man. Not that I want to see him having a w***. It’s just vile.”

The mum of Big Brother housemate Sophie Readed has admitted that she doesn’t like her new boyfriend Kris Donnelly.

Helen Reade told Heat magazine that she had warned her daughter not to get attached in the house and that she’d like to see the pair break up.

“On the outside world, Sophie wouldn’t go anywhere near him,” Helen explained. “He’s not her type – he seems cocky, a bit of a womaniser. Sophie doesn’t like pretty boys.”

She added: “I’ve heard he’s got a girlfriend on the outside world anyway. What kind of lad isn’t upfront? It doesn’t sound like he’s got much respect for women. If my sons did that, I’d go mad.”

Helen was also annoyed by Kris’s claims to have bedded 140 girls. “I think something like that should be kept private,” she remarked. “I don’t want Kris as a son-in-law!”

Kris shouldn’t plan a visit to Sophie’s home any time soon either, or her brothers may have something to say about it. “They’ve said: ‘He’s not welcome round here’,” Helen added.

Big Brother housemates Kris and Sophie found themselves up for eviction this week after they followed in the footsteps of Charlie Drummond.

Sophie and Kris were punished by BB last night for discussing nominations and ordered to stay silent until further notice. Charlie failed a similar task the day before.

Kris failed for humming the song Killing Me Softly, while Sophie made a shocked “oh” noise after she passed wind.

It wouldn’t be a bad thing if Kris found himself evicted, the smarmy git would not be missed a bit!

Irish beauty Noirin Kelly entered the Big Brother house expecting great things and I bet a wolverine lookalike didn’t feature in her plans.

There has been a distinct lack of male totty in the house this year, so whilst glamour model Sophie Reade got off with Kris Donnelly, pretty Noirin was left to choose between creepy Sree and hairy Marcus.

Sree Dasari tried to woo Noirin from day one and so slow was she to set him straight, that by week two he was declaring his undying love. Noirin then played the victim and accused the Indian student of stalking her. I happen to think that Sree is indeed a card carrying nutter but Noirin was too slow to nip his obsession in the bud, she enjoyed the attention a little too much!

Next she moved on to Marcus Akin, asking him to be her pretend boyfriend in order to put Sree off the scent.

Last night we saw Noirin sit on Marcus’ lap for a half tin of cider, when her drink was done she retired to the bedroom, only to be followed by the hairy one. He tried to snog her but did she allow it? Did she heck! I am fully expecting her to turn her attention to Freddie within the next week.
