Sophie Reade has won Big Brother 2009, she won with 74.4% of the final vote.

Sophie has been the bookies favourite to take the title all week, though at some points tonight I did wonder if Siavash would pip her to the post.

In the end Si finished second and was forced to face the crowds in his skintight leotard and black stilettos…..oh the disgrace.

As Sophie failed yesterday’s tooth brushing task the Housemates failed to win some of their favourite music played into the House.

Big Brother allowed Sophie to try and redeem herself. Big Brother tested Sophie’s knowledge of world geography by asking her to identify seven countries on a map of the world.

For each country Sophie correctly placed she would win a song for one of her fellow Housemates or herself, to be played later tonight.

Sophie was asked to place markers on the map where Iran, USA, Brazil, Germany, Sweden, Japan and Iceland are.

Sophie managed to correctly locate the USA and Brazil, winning two songs for the House which will be played later tonight. For the other countries, she placed Iran where France is, Iceland in place of China, Japan where Senegal is, Germany in Africa over Chad and Sweden in place of Kazakhstan.

Last night, Dogface decided that her hair needed a trim – and a brushing wouldn’t go amiss either by the way – so obviously, Lisa was number one choice of hairdresser…

And why wouldn’t she be given she has such luxurious and well styled… skin on her own head.

“I’m gunna do it bit by bit” said Lisa as she gathered up Sophie’s hair.

“You have to be careful because it’s so fine” she added as she went into stylist mode, though unlike most stylists, she didn’t ask if Dogface was going on holiday this year.

“You look like Lady Gaga” said Karly as she watched from a safe distance.

“People have always said I should be a hairdresser. I’m brilliant at hair. It’s ‘cos I got a steady hand” said Lisa.

And it’s true, that’s always a good trait in someone who’s wielding scissors near your eyes. Also, it’s good for gun fights and dynamite juggling, or so I’m told.

“Right, just keep still” said Lisa as she snipped away at Sophie’s fringe and perhaps just in case Sophie decided that would be a good moment to bounce on the bed or something.

Anyway, nobody got gouged and her fringe is in a relatively straight line. Phew.

In a fit of boredom this afternoon, Rodrigo and Dogface decided to try out some fake tan, as you do. But it back fired rather horribly…

When liberal amounts of the instant tanning lotion had done its worst, Marcus’s jaw dropped when he saw Sophie.

“Sophie… What have you done?!” he gasped as she glowed in the dark, or at least, she would’ve if it was dark.

“Instant tanner! Why, do I look stupid?”

Erm, there’s no shortage of mirrors Sophie…

Kris immediately burst out laughing when he spotted her – as indeed you can from space.

“What are you two doing?! You’ve got to wash it off!”

“You can’t even tell that much” said Dogface, showing that either she needs glasses urgently or else she’s a glass half full sort.

“You put make-up on over the top” she told Kris who replied rather aptly, “**** off!”

“What’s the problem?” asked a bewildered Rodrigo, while admiring his new orange look. “We just want to look tanned!”

In the same way snow’s a bit white…

“Are you mental?!” said Marcus who couldn’t stop staring.

“I like it” said Dogface to appreciative nods from Rodrigo… bless ‘em.

It seems that the lack of sex is getting to some of the housemates, and they can’t stop talking about it… or more precisely, the DIY alternative.

Last night, Marcus told Sophie that he couldn’t ‘take care of himself’ as it were – this is a family site after all – because there was no bedding on his bed and she informed him that she’d done the deed at least ten times since they’d been in the house…

Sophie also regaled Marcus with a rather gross tale of how a dog had once tried to hop on the good foot and do the bad thing with her mum and Marcus kept the conversation going by saying that when he gets out of the house, the first things he wants are fish and chips and sex.

I feel sorry for Davina then…

Last night, while Freddie was busy telling Marcus and Siavash that he believed Kris and Sophie’s romance was “fake, fake, fake”, Kris was telling some of the other housemates in the kitchen that he feels he’s “backed off” too much from Sophie.

He also reckons that Sophie’s isn’t bothered that he has and so he’s questioning whether she really does like him or not… maybe he should ask a dinner lady or tell on her to the teacher.

However, despite his sounding like a love-sick 7 year old, Karly had some – brief – words of comfort for him…

“She’s not that kind of lassie, she’s young” Karly said sagely prompting Sree to try to give Kris some lurve advice too, but he got short shrift; “I’m not taking advice off you!” Kris told him firmly before turning back to Karly.

“On the outside I just pull the birds, but I’ve had to get to know her in here” he said, to which Karly replied, “That’s a good thing though…”

But she didn’t get to finish her sentence because, having had a fair amount of booze and some undercooked oven chips – courtesy of Sree – she suddenly had the urge to throw up.

Nice.

According to the Daily Star, BB housemates Sophie and Kris are to be locked in a specially designed “love room” for two days.

The idea is to find out if they really do have a genuine romance going or if, as everyone suspects, it’s all a sham for ratings and viewers votes to keep them in the house.

The paper says that the pair will, “have to answer difficult questions about each other and listen to their conversations with fellow housemates.”

A show insider is quoted in the paper as saying, “We want to make them feel really uncomfortable to see if what’s going on between them is real or not…”

A friend of Sophie’s, Courtney Davies, told the paper that she “doesn’t like Kris very much” and added, “Sophie can do so much better than him, not to mention that he’s actually got a girlfriend” she said.

I think it’s all fake; there’s just no chemistry between the pair at all. In fact, there’s more going on between Kris and Charlie than there is with Sophie.
