Stacey Solomon and Aaron Barham are engaged to be married.
The former X Factor contestant revealed the news on Twitter last night and it has since been confirmed that the painter popped the question as they took a romantic carriage ride in New York’s Central Park yesterday.
Stacey Solomon has admitted that she behaved very much like a puppet during and after her time on The X Factor.
The pregnant star shot to fame when she finished third on the ITV series back in 2009 and went on to become the nation’s sweetheart when she won I’m A Celebrity last year.
However, it was a long road getting there and describing what life was like after finishing on the singing competition, she told Fabulous magazine:

She admitted that the pregnancy wasn’t planned, but in a chat with The Sun added:

The I’m A Celebrity winner and former X Factor contestant is a fan of new judges Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow and thinks that even without Simon Cowell and despite the fact that the show has shed two million viewers, it will continue to be a big hit for ITV.

Former X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon has given her verdict on this year’s new judges, according to MSN.
Of Tulisa Contostavlos, and the inevitable comparisons between her and Cheryl Cole that have been drawn, Stacey said, “I don’t think there’s any resemblance between Tulisa and Cheryl at all.
“There’ll always be that pressure because it’s a massive spot to fill, but Tulisa looks great, she’s doing perfectly.”
Stacey then remarked, “I think Kelly has surprised everyone a little with her opinions actually.
“You really want to hear what she’s got to say, and I never thought I would but I love her comments, I think they’re really accurate, spot on.

Stacey Solomon has defended her old X Factor mentor Dannii Minogue, saying that she ‘deosn’t need’ the ITV show.
The Australian star left (or was pushed off) the lineup earlier this year, but Stacey thinks she probably has enough else going on with her career or private life to worry to much about the snub.
