Former Big Brother star Stephanie McMichael is reportedly planning to audition for this year’s X Factor series.

The reality TV addict was a housemate on the 2008 Big Brother series and also appeared on ITV’s Pop Stars: The Rivals alongside X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.

Stephanie was only 13 years old when she appeared on the singing show and claims that it was Cheryl Cole who first suspected that she was under the 16 years age limit and piqued the suspicions of producers. They then disqualified her from the show.

Stephanie is now planning to come face to face with Cole, as she auditions with girl group LiverBirds and her mum told The Daily Star:

“Cheryl was quizzing her about her age because I think that she was a bit suspicious.

“Stephanie made loads of stories up. It was quite difficult for her.”

Jo added: “She was gutted. She could have been in Girls Aloud and had that taken away. Being bigger than Cheryl would be good revenge.”

Former Big Brother housemate Stephanie McMichael has blasted other reality TV contestants who claim that they enter the shows for the experience rather than for the fame.

Steph was the first housemate to be evicted on last years series but has went on to make quite a large sun from ensuing magazine deals etc.

Speaking to Take 5 magazine, McMichael explained: “I can’t stand people who go on BB and say: ‘It’s not about the fame’. It is! If you don’t want to be famous, don’t go on reality TV.

“It isn’t about the experience. Who would choose to live in a house with a load of mad strangers? No one is just ‘themselves’ either. You have to exaggerate your personality to get on BB. But you can’t fake it either.”

On her own earnings, she revealed: “I made around £100,000 from interviews afterwards. I have no problem posing in my undies, although I’d never go topless.”

We heard last week that Big Brother reject, Stephanie McMichael was releasing a single called ‘Camera Shy’. Now, maybe I was being silly but given that Steph got through to the final rounds of Pop Idol all those years ago, I kind of hoped that she might actually have some musical talent.

I’ve listened to the song above and I hold my hands up and admit that I was wrong. It is awful, boring, and even worse than any song Victoria Beckham could inflict on us!

I was actually quite shocked by tonight’s Big Brother eviction result. Stephanie McMichael became the first housemate to leave the 2008 BB house, but God I wish it had been Mario!

The sight of Mr Know All trying to set everyone to rights and make sure that they all adhere to his own health and safety rules makes me so cross. The man who pawned his Rolex to get his girl a boob job has turned into the moral conscience of the house, reprimanding any who dare bare a bit of flesh.

But tonight was not his night, instead pop wannabe Stephanie is about to conduct her exit interview with Davina McCall. I suppose it will work out well for her anyway. She can use the rest of the summer to market her new pop single that is apparently all ready to go!

Big Brother housemate, Lisa Appleton, is convinced that fellow housemate, Stephanie McMichael is trying to break her and Mario up.

Whilst sharing a intimate bath with her beau today, Lisa commented:

“The main reason I don’t like her is because she tried to split us up and turn people against you.”

I don’t know how Lisa reached her decision, given the fact that Stephanie refused to even kiss Mario during the recent secret couple task never mind sleep with him.

It seems that like most Big Brother housemates, Stephanie McMichael entered the house with an ulterior motive.

Stephanie has already recorded her debut singles and plans are already underway for its release as soon as she exits the BB house.

Stephanie almost made it into Girls Aloud through another reality Tv show, until it emerged that she was too young. Then in 2006, Stephanie was the lead singer with London-based girl band The Superblonds. She left in 2007 to pursue a solo career.

Sefi Carmel, owner of UPIA records, said: “I have no doubt that she will be a huge hit in the music industry. She has the wow factor.

“She makes an impact the very first time you see her and she’s got a great voice. Steph has serious star quality.”

Big Brother housemates, Mario and Lisa have revealed that they think Stephanie should be the housemate evicted this Friday, as she was the one who messed up the secret task.

Big Brother told Mario, Lisa, Luke and Stephanie on the first night that they must convince the other housemates that Mario and Lisa were complete strangers and that Mario and Stephanie were the real couple.

However since Steph mostly refused to look at Mario, never mind kiss him, the group soon sussed that something was wrong with the pairing.

Last night after it emerged that Mario and Co had failed at the task and would therefore face the public vote, Lisa said of Stephanie:

“She was a disaster in the task, she just didn’t try. It was like talking to a brick wall trying to get through to her.”

And later when the couple were in bed together she added: “Steph was rubbish at playing the game. None of it rang true. If it goes on fairness she should go.”

Mario and Stephanie’s wedding of the year went ahead today, despite many doubts and arguments! However, no sooner had the champagne corks been popped than Big Brother announced that the couple were fake and gave the group one minute to guess who the real couple were.

Michael announced that they suspected Mario and Lisa, and though I bet they’re glad to be able to act like a couple again, it can’t be nice to know that one could leave this Friday night…..
