Friends of Strictly Come Dancing star, Matt Di’Angelo, have revealed that he is absolutely smitten by co-star Alesha Dixon.
A source told The People: “Matt and Alesha’s relationship is an open secret among the stars of the show. They seem really happy together – and the relationship seems to have spurred them on to perform brilliantly.
“Matt’s told a few people. But I don’t think either of them really wants the romance to become the talking point of the series.”
Strictly Come Dancing insiders have revealed that after last weeks shock exit of Gabby Logan, nerves are running high in the SCD camp.
The contestants were prepared for the criticisms of the judging panel, but they weren’t ready for the fickle British public, who seem to be going all out to vote for lame ducks like Kate Garraway and Kenny Logan.
A show insider reveals: “This has undoubtedly been the toughest week of the series so far. Nobody expected Gabby to go. No one could have predicted that she and Penny would have been in the bottom two. It was a massive shock – there have been more than just a few nerves jangling since then.”
Strictly Come Dancing star, Alesha Dixon, has revealed that though she doesn’t mind appearing on TV scantily clad, she would rather the cameras didn’t focus on her legs and cellulite.
She told the Mirror: “I don’t mind getting my legs out but I’m still quite conscious of my cellulite.”
She added: “What makes me laugh is these magazines that put a circle around someone’s cellulite as if it’s alien to a woman.
“Of course I have cellulite and I’m not afraid to say it. I don’t have a complex because I know all my friends have it too.”
Head judge on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing TV show, Len Goodman has revealed his rage at the British public for placing Gabby Logan in the bottom two in last night’s show.
Speaking on BBC Two’s Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two programme Len stated:
“I’d like to say how sorry how sad I am that Gabby and James have had to come out of this competition,” he told show host Claudia Winkleman. “The real villains of this are the viewers. I was against the judges voting somebody out at the end. I liked the other method… especially now.”
“I really didn’t want to be put into that position,” he said of having to choose between two competent dancers in the bottom two. “I think it was a disgrace and I think the public… well, words fail me. Read more & comment »
BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing has beat ITV’s X Factor in the television ratings for the second week running.
The BBC One reality show drew 7.9 million and 37 per cent of the TV audience, while The X Factor drew 7.1 million viewers, according to mediaguardian.co.uk figures.
Is the X factor running out of steam? Are people fed up with the judges massive egos and childlike antics? It would certainly appear that way!
Gabby Logan became the fourth person to be voted off BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing after failing to impress the judges in the dance off. I never thought that Gabby would leave the show before her husband, Kenny of the two left feet!
All the couples danced either the Samba or the American Smooth, but once again one of those couples had to leave.
It was Gabby Logan and Penny Lancaster Stewart who found themselves in the bottom two competing in the dance off.
Of Gabby’s performance the judges said:
Len: “More bounce action needed… but by and large you did that Volta a little bit skippy, I thought you did a good job of a difficult dance ” Score: 8. Read more & comment »
Strictly Come Dancing’s shortest male, Dominic Littlewood has revealed that he would love to find love….and soon.
Dominic has been single for the last eighteen months, and said:
“I’ve always put work before relationships. I’ve had some great girlfriends but they’ve never lasted,” Dominic told The Mirror. “I’ve never been in love and I think that’s my own fault. My priorities have shifted and I’m ready to fall in love. I just hope I haven’t left it too late.”
One of his Strictly competitors appeals to him greatly, he added: Read more & comment »

Reports have emerged that dancers and judges alike are shocked and disappointed by the fact that despite embarrassingly bad performances, GMTV presenter Kate Garraway has yet to be in the bottom two couples in the results show.
Judges, Arlene Phillips and Craig Revel Horwood are said toi be particularly angry at Kate’s persistance, Arlene told producers: “I can’t believe Kate Garraway is still on the show, she can’t dance.”
A source told The Sun: “All the celebrities and their partners are putting in hours of practice. It’s rather galling for them to work that hard and then see Kate sail through to the next round despite putting in an appalling performance. Things are starting to get catty.”
In a not so shock result, snooker player Willie Thorne has become the latest person to leave the Strictly Come Dancing reality TV show.
Willie last night found himself in the bottom two along with football star, John Barnes.
But the judges weren’t big Willie fans and Bruno Tonioli said his dancing style resembled “a polar bear in the Sahara”.
So its bye bye Willie! Better luck next time.
Yet again, another fabulous performance from Kelly Brook and Brendan Cole on this week’s Strictly Come Dancing. This girl is gorgeous, funny and she can dance….kinda makes me want to hate her….
How chivalrous of Brendan to admit that the mistake in the middle was his!
Another amazing performance from Alesha Dixon on Strictly Come Dancing this week….the boys really do have trouble on their hands. The girls this week beat them hands down again!
Letitia Dean has had to endure a week of heated rows with her dance partner Darren Bennett after he accused her of letting her recent marriage breakup affect her concentration.
Earlier this week, Bennett stormed out of reheasals shouting: “Take this show seriously or I’m not coming back!” He later returned to fulfil his contractual obligations, but the atmosphere remained tense as the pair practised the tango.
A source told the News of the World: “There was a huge amount of yelling and screaming. There has been for days. But this was their biggest bust-up yet. Darren screamed at Letitia for not taking the competition seriously enough.”
