As fans of Strictly Come Dancing may know, judge Craig Revel Horwood has penned a stage show entitled Strictly Confidential, which is about, and will star, former Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, who of course competed on Strictly last year.
And during an interview with TV Times, Lisa – who’s currently starring in BBC soap Waterloo Road – revealed how flattered she’d been to learn about the show.

Fans of TV presenter Anthea Turner may be aware she suffers from dyslexia, and during an interview with Lorraine Kelly yesterday, she revealed that it’s affecting her Dancing On Ice training.
She explained, “I think my biggest problem has been – and we’ve spoken about it – I am dyslexic and dyslexics never know their right from their left.
“And I’ve had terrible trouble and the coaches are going bonkers at me going ‘Do you know your right from your left?’. ‘I do, just give me a moment on this and I’ll get it’.”

Newsreader Michael Buerk has blasted Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly, branding her a “pneumatic air head” in a rant over the BBC’s coverage of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee earlier this year.
Writing for The Mail on Sunday, Buerk remarked, “The one enduring British institution [the Monarchy] was mocked by another that had shamefully lost its way.
“On the screen, a succession of Daytime airheads preened themselves, or gossiped with even more vacuous D-list ‘celebrities’.

This year’s Strictly Come Dancing winner Louis Smith has revealed that he’s delighted to have been awarded an MBE in this year’s honours list and has described it as “the icing on the cake” of what has been a great year.
The Olympic gymnast was recognised for his services to sport following his success in the London 2012 Olympics.
Speaking to the PA, Louis said, “To receive this honour is out of this world and something I never would have dreamt of as I grew up in the sport of gymnastics.

Strictly Come Dancing decks the halls with glitterballs as JB Gill wins the 2012 Christmas special.
Just a few days after the grand finale of the 2012 series, Strictly Come Dancing quickstepped back to screens to deck the halls with glitterballs for a one-off seasonal special, which saw JB Gill crowned King of the Christmas Ballroom.
Opening with a special sketch, seeing the judges enjoying their Christmas dinner together – Head Judge Len carving the turkey, Darcey offering her trademark tips (punctuated by “yah!”), before Bruce appears to whisk them all off to the ballroom.

Louis Smith and Flavia Cacace seem pretty stunned and shocked to have won Strictly Come Dancing.
The pair were announced as the winners of the BBC show last night, after they performed in the final against Denise Van Outen, Kimberley Walsh and Dani Harmer.
They received two 39s and a 40 for their three dances and no one was very surprised when they lifted the glitterball trophy, as they’ve been the bookies favourites for weeks.

Strictly Come dancing drew to a close tonight and finally, the 2012 winner has been chosen.
Louis Smith was crowned the winner and took the glitterball trophy with his partner Flavia Cacace.
Dani Harmer and Vincent Simon were eliminated at the start of the results show leaving Denise Van Outen, Kimberley Walsh and Louis Smith battling it out for the glitterball trophy.
They each had to perform one more time and they chose their favourite dance of the series to end their Strictly experience with. Denise and James Jordan picked the Charleston and after scoring them their second perfect 40 of the night the judges raved about their fancy footwork.

Strictly Come Dancing is drawing to a close and we are at least one step closer to crowning our 2012 winner.
Kimberley Walsh, Dani Harmer, Louis Smith and Denise Van Outen all performed twice tonight for the judges and the panel raved about all their dances.
They did have their favourites though and Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Darcey Bussell and Craig Revel Horwood scored Denise and Louis highest, awarding them a 39 and a 40 and placing them at joint first position on the leaderboard.

Louis Smith and Denise Van Outen were the clear winner son tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing final, in terms of judges scores at least.
The pair went up against Dani Harmer and Kimberley Walsh in the penultimate show of the series and won rave reviews as well as high scores from the judges after their show dance and the judges’ favourite routine of the series to date.

Louis Smith has been dropping some hints about his routines for tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing final.
The gymnast will take to the floor at least twice this evening and will be competing against Denise Van Outen, Kimberley Walsh and Dani Harmer in the last show of the series.
He revealed that for his show dance he and Flavia have decided that he will dance topless, in a bid to increase his votes and on It Takes Two this week he revealed that he is excited about the routine and it’s lack of rules.
