Former Strictly Come Dancing finalists, Louisa Lytton and Vincent Simone will represent the UK in the 2008 Eurovision Dance Contest.
The youngest ever Strictly Come Dancing contestant, and currently starring in The Bill, Louisa competed in series four alongside other famous faces including Mark Ramprakash, Matt Dawson and Emma Bunton.
This time Louisa and Vincent are striving to reach the top spot as they bring together elements of Latin and Ballroom for a one-chance, freestyle performance to incorporate the nation’s dancing flavour.

When Gemma Bissix signed up for Sports Relief does Strictly Come Dancing, you can bet she didn’t think she’d be hitting the headlines for hitting, kicking and stamping on her partner.
But the poorly co-ordinated actress seems to have given her partner a really hard time recently, whilst trying to master the shows routines.

Strictly Come Dancing star, Brendan Cole has been boasting that if entered ITV’s Dancing On Ice, he would win the competition.
The womanising dancer stated that ice skating is no more difficult than ballroom dancing.
On tonight’s Happy Hour he tells host Al Murray: “You don’t know what you’re talking about. It would be easy.”

Spice Girl and almost winner of US TV show Dancing With Stars, Mel B, has revealed that she and bandmate Emma Bunton will be allowed to show off their newly found dance skills as part of the Spice Girls tour.
Mel B told The Mirror: “We have this little tango section so we can show off our stuff. Me and Emma were quite obviously pleased to get that in.”

Strictly Come Dancing Judge, Len Goodman has revealed that he believes that men who play football are more “sissy” than men who dance.
He said: “Those footballers score a goal, they kiss and cuddle each other and then go into the showers and compare each other’s willies.
“In dance you have a beautiful girl and you are holding her close. Which one is the more sissy - I don’t know.”
The man knows what he’s talking about!

X Factor fans are not a happy bunch as ITV makes the ridiculous decision to postpone the X Factor show next Saturday night, and replace it with a rugby match.
X Factor viewers were hoping to catch their first live stage show next week, as the final twelve acts are due to be announced tomorrow, but instead most of them will end up ignoring the first semi-final of the Rugby World Cup, which is not expected to feature a home nation.

Model Penny Lancaster has announced that her plans for the year include (hopefully) winning the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, and then having another baby with rock star husband Rod Stewart.

TV presenter Kate Garraway may have to quit Strictly Come Dancing before she even dances on a live show!
Kate has injured her foot and has ended up on crutches after damaging some tendons during rehearsals.
Garraway revealed in her column for New magazine: “I am in so much pain. My feet just feel battered. I am really struggling.

Strictly Come Dancing competitors are said to be furious at what they believe is a BBC fix to make sure that Kelly Brook wins this years show.
Kelly has received the most publicity in the run up to the show’s launch and many people believe she will benefit from being paired with Brendan Cole who has previously won the show.
“Every time I open a paper she’s pictured in a skimpy outfit and there’s just a few lines about everyone else,” EastEnders star Matt Di Angelo complained. “Judging by the coverage she is getting, Kelly is going to win. Everything is always about her.”
A show insider told the Daily Star: “There’s a strong feeling that Strictly is being turned into The Kelly Show. People are already calling her ‘Special K’ behind her back. It had to happen, it always happens. Just before the launch of a new series of Strictly Come Dancing, someone else gets injured!
The latest casualty of the show has been Eastenders actor, Matt Di’Angelo, who has been ordered to take three days out from rehearsing after tearing his knee ligaments.
The Sun: “One minute I was dancing and all of a sudden I was in pain. I pulled some ligaments in my leg and I’ve had to have physio.
