Craig Kelly has claimed that he won’t make the Strictly Come Dancing final but said that he is happy to have made it as far as the Blackpool stage of the show.
Speaking on Channel 4’s Paul O’Grady show, he said: “I’m happy because I won’t make the final. I’m just okay and the others are great.
“I am so happy to be going to Blackpool this weekend though. It was my absolute goal to make it there.”
Former Strictly Come Dancing competitor Julian Clary, has admitted that he is missing Arlene Phillips on this year’s show.
Julian appeared on Scottish chatshow The Hour and when asked if he is watching the current series, Clary replied: “I am, but I’m missing Arlene Phillips a bit this year. She was like a mother to me when I did that show, unlike Craig Revel Horwood, who’s like an uncle you wouldn’t want to be left on your own with.”
Strictly Come Dancing contestant Jade Johnson has reportedly been losing her temper with her partner Ian Waite, after she struggled to master this week’s dance The Jive.
An insider told The Sun: “Jade is a really strong personality. She’s in it to win it and she won’t accept second best from herself – or Ian. They are getting very frustrated and Jade is used to picking things up much more quickly than this.

Strictly Come Dancing star Craig Kelly has insisted that he is not aspiring to be a comedy figure like John Sergeant, despite his apparent lack of dancing skills.
John won the hearts of the British public last year with his awful dancing and jolly nature, but Craig insists that he has more potential than that.
The X Factor’s creative director Brian Friedman has said that Strictly Come Dancing needs to become more like America’s Dancing With The Stars.
Friedman told PA that the BBC show would steal more viewers away from X Factor if they had a glossier image.
He said : “There’s something about the American version which is not translating into the British version, and this is the version we had first. Somehow in America we’ve really managed to buff and shine the show, make it high gloss, it looks really expensive.
Arlene Phillips has said that the Strictly Come Dancing judges were right to get rid of Jo Wood, on Saturday night’s show.
Phillips told The Sun: “She just has no idea what to do with her legs. Brendan [Cole] looked like he was moving a plank of wood, not a body. All I could think was the clocks have gone back and so has Jo.”
The choreographer continued: “She can’t work out her right from her left. She has no understanding or awareness of it. It is often something that goes back to childhood.
