It’s been reported today that comedian Lenny Henry has blasted The Voice co-host Reggie Yates for commenting in the press that he thinks there are not enough black people featuring on primetime TV, and additionally, it’s been revealed that Kerry Katona will be among a host of reality TV stars who are set to ‘fess their secrets in a new series of My Secret Past.
Starting with what Lenny had to say to Reggie – who as we reported yesterday claimed he was angry that his is the only black face to be found during the evening TV slot on a Saturday night – while appearing on Lorraine Kelly’s breakfast show, Lenny said, “He should shut up and just take the money.” Read more & comment »

Marvin Humes is hot property this week and not just because of his shocking good looks and ripped abdominals!
The JLS star should be on a bit of a downer, after all his chart topping band JLS just announced that they were splitting at the end of the year. However, it’s been reported that after the news broke, TV bosses around the country scrambled to make an offer to the hunk, all hoping that he would join one of their upcoming series’.

Louis Smith is planning to move on from gymnastics and dancing to launch a new singing career, it has been reported.
The 23 year old medal winning Olympic gymnast won BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing last year, along with his professional partner Flavia Cacace and insiders say he’s about to capitalise on his new celebrity status and get working on his first album.

When Strictly Come Dancing and spin-off show It Takes Two presenter was offered the chance to host a new BBC2 show entitled The Great British Sewing Bee, she jumped at the chance, saying, “I think it’s exciting to see people making something from nothing.”
And while her remark may make viewers wonder if she’s tailoring the Emperor’s new clothes, what she’ll in fact be doing is promoting a make-do-and-mend culture, which is of course apposite given the fact we’re in what feels like a never ending recession.

Fans of former Strictly Come Dancing star Denise Van Outen will no doubt know that she walked out on her job as a breakfast radio show co-host – halfway through her contracted time – and at the time, it was rumoured that she found fellow presenter Johnny Vaughan difficult to work with.
She was replaced by Lisa Snowdon, however, last month, Johnny claimed that he had no idea that Denise had any issues about their time working together.

ITV are reportedly planning to launch a brand new Saturday night entertainment show this year, which they hope will bring in the viewers during the summer weekends.
Insiders have revealed that bosses have come up with a new format, which will mix the dance element of Strictly Come Dancing, with the fun family side of Mr & Mrs and see couples competing in a brand new dance competition.

Miranda Hart has managed to throw her latest Comic Relief challenge in jeoprady, by injuring her foot just hours before she was due to dance in public.
The statuesque comedienne will be required to don her best sequinned dress and highest of heels for a Strictly Come Dancing task this evening, however at one point it looked like she wouldn’t even be able to attempt the routine with hunk professional Pacha Kovalev, after she took a fall yesterday.

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing may know that pro-dancers Camilla Dallerup and Brendan Cole were formerly in a relationship…
However, their romance ended in 2004 – after the couple had been together for six years – and at the time, there were rumours that Brendan had had a romance with newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky.

Fans of Dancing On Ice will of course know that Keith Chegwin left the contest on Sunday night, however, undaunted, Keith reckons he’d like to try his hand at Strictly Come Dancing next!
Keith was apparently approached by the BBC to take part in Strictly last year, however, he turned down the offer as he’d already signed up to star in ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
However, as Keith has shed two stones in weight and is fitter than ever, he’s ready to don more lycra and sequins.
