“Sportsmen have always excelled at Strictly with Mark Ramprakash and Darren Gough both winning the show,” a source told The Mirror.

“They’ve made a massive mistake sacking Arlene. She knows more about dancing than anyone else,” he told The Mirror.

Arlene Phillips to reform Hot Gossip

arleneStrictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips is apparently planning to reunite her former dance troupe Hot Gossip for a new stage show about the life of Kenny Everett.

Hot Gossip shot to fame in the 70s following appearances on The Kenny Everett Video Show and Top of the Pops. Their biggest selling hit was ‘I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper’ which featured vocals from opera diva Sarah Brightman.

Apparently, Simon Cowell’s pet popstar Sinitta also stood in as a “ghost vocalist” on a few of their pop songs. Read more & comment »
