Sugababes wanted X Factor performance

Sugababes singer Jade Ewen has admitted that the band wanted to perform their new single ‘About A Girl’ on the X Factor, but weren’t asked to be on the show.

“X Factor rules the music industry at the moment. It’s so massive. We didn’t get asked to go on the show this year and it makes a difference,” Jade Ewen told the Daily Star.

“Especially over Christmas you just know X Factor is going get number one, simple as that. Next year we hope they have a Sugababes week for acts to sing our songs.”

X Factor: Rachel Adedeji to join original Sugababes?

Original Sugababes singers Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy are reportedly forming a new band with X Factor reject, Rachel Adedeji.

Siobhan quit the girlband in 2001 whilst Keisha was kicked out last month and replaced by Eurovision singer Jade Ewen. Keisha has always been a big X Factor fan and saw Rachel’s potential after she was voted off last month.

Sugababes Keisha Buchanan prefers old style X Factor

Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan has admitted that she doesn’t like the new style X Factor, well I don’t like her new song and you don’t hear me shouting about it!

Speaking to Radio 1′s Newsbeat, Buchanan commented: “I prefer the old set-up and the audition rooms – it felt a bit more real.”

Well I’m sure that Simon Cowell will change everything back after reading your words of wisdom…not! Go back to pouting and flouncing for the camera Keisha, because judging by the awful quality of your new song, the singing thing isn’t working out too well for you.

Sugababes Banned From X Factor Because Of Cheryl Cole?

The Sugababes are feeling slightly left out of this years X Factor action and hold new judge, Cheryl Cole fully responsible.

Band member Heidi Range, 25 claims that show bosses will not let them perform on the show as they are Girls Aloud and therefore Cheryl Cole’s biggest rivals.

“It makes sense that if they’re going to have a girlband on they’ll have Girls Aloud,” Range told the Daily Star. “You can’t blame them, though. If one of us was on the panel we would be like: ‘No, we are the only girlband’.”
