It’s been revealed today that Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle is to be shadowed by cameras ahead of her first ever tour for a fly-on-the-wall reality TV show.
The Daily Star reports, “The famously fragile singer, 52, has agreed to let the cameras follow her 24-7 as she prepares for her first-ever tour.”
And in addition, it’s also been reported that she’s landed a lucrative deal to perform in Las Vegas venues next year. The contract is reportedly set to net “millions”. Read more & comment »

It’s been reported today that former Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle’s new album has been delayed in order to “prioritise” the forthcoming album by Grammy winner Adele!

Britain’s Got Talent star, Susan Boyle, is currently filming her first ever film, the Sun newspaper reports!
Susan, who shot to global superstardom following her breath-taking audition and continually breath-taking live show performances on the hugely popular ITV talent show, has been pictured in full costume filming in the Cotswolds for her new Christmas movie.

We reported over the weekend that Simon Cowell and other Britain’s Got Talent stars – including his fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon – had been filming a spoof wedding for this year’s Comic Relief…
And of course, getting ‘married’ was confirmed bachelor Simon, but the big mystery was who his bride or possibly groom, would be.
However, The Sun reports that we’ll see vain Simon marrying himself – in the form of a lookalike – in the skit ceremony!
The paper adds that while Simon turned up wearing his trademark jeans and T-shirt combo, his lookalike was properly kitted out in a wedding suit. Read more & comment »

This is a weird piece of news for all you Britain’s Got Talent fans…enjoy!
We have just got wind of the fact that former contestant and worldwide superstar Susan Boyle has signed a new advertising deal and it’s a strange one. She won’t be the face of a cosmetic company, promoting anti wrinkle or hair removal products, no the ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ star will instead be promoting a brand of salad cream.
The Scottish star has joined forces with camp band The Village People and will appear in an ad campaign for Miracle Whip salad cream.

It’s been reported today that theater producer Cameron Mackintosh has credited former Britain’s Got Talent winner Susan Boyle as having inspired the blockbuster movie version of Les Misérables.
EW report that Mackintosh explained that Susan’s BGT victory, and her hit cover of I Dreamed A Dream, gave the stage version of the show a “real kick.”

Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle’s PR team sparked some hilarity on Twitter yesterday when they accidentally invited SuBo fans to her “anal bum party” by hashtagging, ‘susanalbumparty’
And of course, word soon spread prompting some pretty funny responses, including some from various celebs.
DJ Lisa Snowdon tweeted, “I don’t think Susan Boyle’s record company thought this hashtag thru.”
And Jim Sheridan wrote, “When Susan Boyle has an Album Launch she knows how to party”
However, it seems that some Twitter users reckoned that that hashtag blunder wasn’t a blunder at all… Read more & comment »

Since she shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent, Susan Boyle has of course seen her life turned upside down, and has sometimes found it all too much…
She of course had what’s been described as a nervous breakdown, but in the last couple of years, she’s been far more stable and enjoying life as she’s travelled the world performing.
However, she has yet to find Mr Right, but has apparently received a marriage proposal which she turned down given that the prospective groom was “cheeky.”
Speaking to the Mirror, Susan said of the marriage proposal, “Well, I did get one but I sent the letter back because he was cheeky…” Read more & comment »

Fans of Britain’s Got Talent will of course know that the now global superstar Susan Boyle got her big break on the show, and within hours of her first astounding audition, she became a household name.
However, in a candid interview with Australian news and current affairs show ‘Sunday Night’, Susan has revealed that the transition from an unknown to a world renowned star caused her to have a nervous breakdown.
She also confessed that the emotional damage caused to her by years of bullying, followed by the death of her parents, has left her with lasting mental “scars” that she still battles with.
However, Susan went on to say that right now, she’s happier than she’s ever been.

BBC One announced today that the BBC Children in Need Appeal show returns on Friday 16th November, live once more from Television Centre. Sir Terry Wogan will be joined by Fearne Cotton, Tess Daly plus Nick Grimshaw to host a bigger than ever, spectacular night of musical entertainment, sketches, special features, glitz, glamour and guest appearances.
This year’s appeal night will be the pinnacle of a vast range of programming contributing to the 2012 BBC Children in Need campaign. The biggest names in entertainment will come together to support the appeal and help to raise money for disadvantaged children in the UK.
