Cheryl Cole is said to have a bit of a crush on hip hop artist Taio Cruz.
The pair are said to have met to discuss a possible duet for the former X Factor judge’s third solo album, and during their chat insiders say Cheryl completely fell for the british star.
Heat magazine reported that Cole is ready to “move onwards and upwards” from her cheating ex Ashley, and thinks that Cruz may be the person to do it with.
Taio Cruz has admitted that after Cheryl Cole’s huge TV success, he had forgotten that the Girls Aloud Member could actually sing as well.
Taio wrote the song ‘Stand Up’ for Cheryl’s debut solo album and said that he was “pleasantly surprised” when he heard her sing in the recording studio.
Taio Cruz has admitted that he loved working with Cheryl Cole when they co-wrote a track for her new album, ’3 Words.’
In a chat with ITN Taio said:
“She’s lovely,” he said. “A lovely, lovely person. I’m proud to know her and have her in the phonebook. She’s a cool girl.”

Cruz, who recently admitted that he wrote his current single ‘Break Your Heart’ for Cheryl Cole, told Alex and Lucy on Key 103′s IN:Demand:
“I’m going to go down and pop in, show my face and say, ‘Wassup.”

Cruz told The Sun that after Cole’s management stalled on accepting the song, he decided to release it himself.
“I was asked to write two songs for Cheryl, one of which was ‘Break Your Heart’,” he explained.
