JLS - X Factor 2008
X Factor’s JLS were forced to leave a recent Take That gig early after being mobbed by fans.
“It was really funny because when Jason [Orange] began to sing his solo, someone spotted JLS and loads of people turned their backs on the stage to take pictures and chant their name instead,” a source told The Sun.
“They had to sprint through the corridors to get out and were escorted to their taxi to avoid all the attention.”

The Sun has reported today that gorgeous man band, Take That, have pulled out of Saturday night’s X Factor final after hearing that their so called rivals, Boyzone, would also be appearing on the show.
I read it, I thought about it, I didn’t believe one word! Take That have no reason to be threatened by Boyzone, and since they had no problem performing on the same show as Westlife on X Factor 2006, I can’t see why they would be adverse to performing with the infinitely less successful and popular Boyzone this year.

X Factor bosses have admitted that sexy man band, Take That, have prerecorded their performance for this Saturday’s live show.
The bosses had been intending to pass it off as live, but are now owning up rather than cause yet another scandal or conspiracy theory.

Sources have suggested that X factor judge, Simon Cowell is trying to sign Beyonce Knowles and Take That to perform on the final of the series.
An insider told The Daily Star: “Simon wants to end the series on a high with two of the world’s biggest pop acts.
“Last year we had Kylie and Katherine Jenkins performing duets with Leon and Rhydian and this year we want Beyoncé and Take That. It’ll be the hottest ticket in town.”
Of course being a HUGE Take That fan I would love to see the boys on the show, but as they appeared only two years ago on another X Factor final, I wonder if Simon shouldn’t ask a new act to spice up the final this December?

X Factor judge Simon Cowell has this week blasted Take That for releasing their latest single, Rule The World in the same week Leona Lewis releases her bid for number one, Bleeding Love.
Simon told BANG Showbiz: “I am annoyed Take That have chosen to release their new single at the same time as Leona. I just don’t know why they would do that.
I am confused as to why Simon Cowell thinks that Take That owe Leona Lewis any favours. Wasn’t it enough that they sang with Leona on last year’s X factor live final, helping her win the XF title?

I can’t believe it! the boys are popping up on all my favourite shows. First the X Factor and now Dancing On Ice!
Reality TV mixed with my all time favourite band….what could be better.
Take That have been lined up to perform live on next weeks Dancing On Ice show. It is said that both Clare Buckfield and Lisa Scott Lee are incredibly nervous at the prospect of meeting the boys…if they can’t manage it I wonder if I could step into their shoes…..what a thought!

“The producers wanted to show that X Factor is more than just a talent contest. With big name acts like this, it shows why it’s still so popular.”

Take That are taking over the airwaves, and that’s not a bad thing!
Fresh from their live show ‘An Audience With Take That’ last Saturday, the reformed ‘man-band’ are due to appear on the Royal Variety Show and even better, the X Factor final.
This is a genius move by X Factor bosses, as not only will they get a huge audience just for the sheer fact that it is the show’s final, but add Take That to the mix and the ratings are bound to go through the roof.
This is the first time that I will actually look forward to an X Factor themed week. Barry Manilow or Take That…..I know who I’d choose!

All my dreams come true! My favourite boyband appearing on my favourite show! I just can’t quite believe it.
Sorry for the rant, but the word is that Take That (minus Robbie Williams of course) have agreed to take part in this years X factor show as mentors for the finalists.
Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange will take the remaining contestants on the show through their paces, before they perform classic Take That songs to win viewer votes.
I wonder where I can get tickets?
