It’s been revealed this morning that X Factor judge and Take That star Gary Barlow is penning a musical that’s destined for the West End, and inevitably, it’s rumoured that Gary may make the rise, fall and rise again of Take That the focus of the production.
According to the Daily Mirror, Gary’s co-writing the musical with his pal Eliott Kennedy, and of that, the paper adds, “The pair have been thrashing out ideas, with Gary drawing on his experience with Take That and his rise to superstardom.”
A source close to Gary told the paper, “Gary’s the happiest he’s ever been in his career right now and loves being given the freedom to write music and take on different projects… Read more & comment »

Gary Barlow was amazed by the massive response he got to a message on twitter recently and he has warned fans that it will lead to more of the same.
The Take That star is currently enjoying some down time with his family, presumably before the X Factor circus begins again next month and this week he spent a few hours cleaning up his old keyboard.

Take That have been very quiet since their Progress Live tour last year but it sounds like the band could soon be taking to the stage once more.
Mark Owen has revealed that he would love to headline Glastonbury next year and he admitted that he plans to raise the idea with his bandmates Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and maybe even Robbie Williams at their next meeting.

It’s been revealed today that X Factor judge Gary Barlow’s Take That band mate Mark Owen hopes that the band can land a spot playing at the Glastonbury festival next year.
The Sun reports, “Mark’s been several times as a punter and fancies a crack on the Pyramid Stage alongside his bandmates.”
He said, “I love Glastonbury. I would go there, definitely. We’re all meeting up in a few weeks, so we’ll see.”
However, as it now looks like Gary’s place on The X Factor judging panel is assured for at least this year, Mark may have to put his Glasto aspirations on hold for the time being. Read more & comment »

Bookmakers have slashed the odds on Robbie Williams joining The X Factor judging panel this year, after the Take That star dropped more hints that he could be taking part in the show.
The ‘Candy’ hitmaker revealed last year that Simon Cowell has previously asked him to judge on the show, but until now he has firmly turned any offers of a full time position down.

Robbie Williams has a long history with The Brit Awards so it’s no surprise that he has penned a song in honour of the glitzy annual awards ceremony.
In 2008 it was confirmed that the Take That star had more Brit Awards than any other star – 17 at that point – and two years ago he was awarded the award for Outstanding Contribution To British Music at the 2010 BRIT Awards.

Olly Murs has admitted that he cannot wait to start his new tour with Robbie Williams.
The X Factor star was confirmed as Rob’s support act when he announced his comeback stadium tour in 2012 and Murs thinks he’s ready for the first time to take on such a huge challenge.
The Xtra Factor presenter has been nominated for two Brit Awards in tomorrow night’s ceremony and has been named in the Best British Male and Best British Single for his No 1 track.

Robbie Williams has admitted that he is concerned about Justin Bieber.
The Take That star has experience the negative side of fame, over his three decade long career and he worries that the downwards spiral could soon affect the Canadian teen idol if he doesn’t have the right people watching out for him.
The ‘Candy’ hitmaker has recently turned his life around and has reinvigorated his career and settled down with his beautiful wife and new baby, however he experience his fair share of hard times, his battles with drugs and his addiction to alcohol and Robbie thinks some of these experiences are probably ‘inevitable’ for the ‘Baby’ singer too.

Robbie Williams is forging ahead with his solo career and is reportedly starting work on another Big Band album.
The Take That star previously enjoyed success with his ‘Swing When You’re Winning’ record back in 2001, which included tracks such as “Mack the Knife”, “Somethin’ Stupid” (with Nicole Kidman) and Mr Bojangles. Back then he took two weeks off his tour to record what would be his second studio album, an album he described as the “big band album he had always dreamed of making.”

Gary Barlow has insisted that he hasn’t made any decisions about his future on The X Factor yet.
It was reported yesterday that the Take That singer would be leaving the show and that Simon Cowell was already considering his replacement, but in an interview given during the final weekend the dad of three said that he is still considering whether or not he wants to come back.
