After yesterday’s Sports Day task, most of the losing housemates were magnanimous in defeat and didn’t hold any grudges… except Sree.

He went around the house with a face like a melted welly afterwards, making the others miserable too, and Marcus wasn’t happy about it.

Marcus said of him, “I’m not being nasty, but I’m not happy with how Sree’s behaving. He’s bringing the whole house down…

“He’s just being a **** because he didn’t win” he said.

Unusually, Noirin sided with Sree and said she could understand why he was feeling down, as did Charlie who decided to cheer the sullen housemate up. However, his pep talk didn’t work at first but Sree did concede that, “Winning or losing isn’t important. Participation is important.”

After a few more words of encouragement from Charlie, Sree seemed to decide to look on the bright side after all…

“Look, compared to personal things, this is a silly game” he said.

Oh dear, obsessing about Noirin again much?

For today’s task, housemates had to compete in a school sports day complete with egg and spoon races, sack races and relays.

Marcus announced the task and by going to the diary room for the laminate, he made himself referee. As such, he had to choose two team captains, and quelle surprise, he chose Noirin and then Siavash.

Never mind all that basking around in the Garden housemates, Big Brother wants you in the Living Area – and be quick about it! There’s a Task on its way and Marcus is on his way back from the Diary Room with the details.

“The events are as follows” he told the housemates, and they were, egg and spoon race, skipping race, sack race, rolling race and relay race.”

And as well as winning tokens for the whole group, there was a bonus prize…

“The winning team will be rewarded with a school disco in the sitting room. The party will consist of takeaway food, music and booze” Marcus revealed to much squealing and girly giggling, and then the girls joined in.

So the fun commenced and in the egg and spoon race, Kris romped home to win. However, there was a small twisteroo in that the contestants had to eat the eggs and they were somewhat elderly apparently. This caused Rodrigo to barf his right back, bless him.

Anywho, by the end of all five events, the winning team was announced, and it was…

“Team Noirin!”

She and her team were of course delighted but Siavash and his school racers were less enthused. Guess they should’ve egged each other on more… sorry. I should get the sack for that… sorry again.

Big Brother has revealed this week’s shopping task, and it’s all about the Tudors…

Siavash ran to the diary room to collect the task instructions, therefore automatically putting himself in the role of Henry VIII. He must now choose six of the housemates to be his wives and two more to be courtiers.

All nine of them will live a life of luxury in King Henry’s Court and the remaining housemates will be cooks with the exception of one who must take on a ‘special role’. However, none of the housemates yet know that this ’special role’ is the role of Village Idiot!

The house is being transformed into “Tudor England, complete with a court and Tudor Kitchen”. Here’s what Channel 4 say about the task…

“Access to the normal house kitchen is forbidden and housemates must only eat the food set in the Tudor Kitchen, which is all in its most basic form (rabbits, chickens, carp, seasonal vegetables and fruit).

“The cooks must spend their time preparing food for the feast on the second day, using real Tudor recipes, and all other housemates must take part in it and pass their tasks throughout the two days.

“If at any time housemates must be punished, the Village Idiot will act as their whipping boy and will take whatever Tudor punishment Big Brother metes out to him, such as wearing a barrel or going in the stocks.”

Well it sounds better than most of the tasks so far! More task news as we get it.

For this week’s shopping task the Celebrity Big Brother housemates must become toys.

The task will consist of 7 separate challenges, each related to a different aspect of childrens toys.

The group as a whole must fail no more than two challenges in order to pass this week’s shopping task.

Big Brother has allocated the following roles to the following housemates.

TOY PIANO PLAYERS

La Toya and Mutya must learn to play a piece of music on a giant piano. To pass the challenge, they must provide a note perfect performance tomorrow.

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC

Verne and Michelle must become teddy bears for the duration of the task and will be provided with a picnic.

NATIVE AMERICAN TOY

Ulrika will become a native American warrior. To pass the task she must learn how to fire a bow and arrow accurately.

TOY DINOSAUR

For his challenge Ben must become a dinosaur. His challenge will take place tomorrow.

TOY RACE CARS

Coolio and Tommy must become toy racing drivers and must keep their cars clean and maintained at all times.

MUSIC BALLERINA DANCERS

Tina and Terry must show their natural grace and elegance by becoming ballet dancers on a music box.

GROUP TASK

In addition to their individual tasks housemates must take part in a group challenge. Over the course of today and tomorrow, a group of children will make numerous visits to the Big Brother house. Big Brother will play a trigger sound. Upon hearing this, all housemates have one minute to get into a toy box in the living area and stand perfectly still until all the children have left the house.

Housemates have been informed of the task and the task is currently going out live on streaming, E4, highlights of which to be shown in tomorrow nights show.

Big Brother housemates have to prove their stamina when it comes to eating by seeing how much spaghetti they can eat.

Big Brother will call the Head of House to the Diary Room to collect a laminate containing the details of today’s task.

The laminate explains that for today’s task, housemates will be paying a visit to Grande Fratello’s Italian Restaurant. Today’s special is Spaghetti. The housemates will have 2 hours to eat a giant bowl of it.

In the Store Room are 8 over-sized costumes. The housemates must each put on a costume. Whilst they are getting changed, the dining room table is set to look like an Italian restaurant. At the end of the table is a giant bowl of spaghetti in tomato sauce. The housemates have 2 hours to eat all of the spaghetti.

If the housemates manage to eat all of the spaghetti within 2 hours, they will receive a special reward later on today.

For this week’s shopping task, housemates will become zombies and perform a routine inspired by the famous dance sequence from Michael Jackson’s Thriller video.

Big Brother will today call Head of House Rex to the Diary Room to collect a laminate containing the details of the task.

Big Brother will show the housemates the original video, followed by a demo DVD of the routine they will be learning. This will be played onto the plasma screen in the living area.

As Head of House, Rex will become choreographer and must oversee the housemates as they learn the routine. Rex will also be responsible for selecting someone to take the lead position as Michael Jackson.
Housemates will receive rehearsal costumes and instructional DVDs to help them learn the routine.

To help the dancers practice their performance, a rehearsal area has been marked out in the garden, to replicate their final performance area. They must perform to Big Brother’s satisfaction in order to win a luxury shopping budget this week.

Big Brother housemates must today recreate famous statues from around the world then stand still for as long as possible. The housemate who stays still the longest becomes the Head of House.

Housemates who are eligible to be Head of House will compete in a task to become this week’s Head of House. These are: Kathreya, Lisa, Mohamed, Nicole, Rex and Sara. Each of the six housemates who are eligible to become Head of House must become human statues. The Housemates must recreate the poses of famous statues from around the World. The housemate who holds the pose without moving for the longest period of time, will become the next Head of House. Housemates must decide amongst themselves which statue they each wish to be.

The statues are:

” The Thinker – sculpted by Rodin in 1901-1904.
” The Statue of Liberty – sculpted by Frederic Auguste Barthuldi in 1886.
” Eros – sculpted by Alfred Gilbert in 1892.
” The Farnese Atlas – sculptor unknown, sculpted around 150AD.
” The Kiss – sculpted by Rodin in 1880-1882. This statue requires two people.

Housemates must replicate the look of the statue and adopt the correct poses.
Housemates will be given approximately half an hour to paint their bodies with the appropriate body paint for their statue using the sponges provided. Housemates are allowed to enlist the help of other non participating housemates. In the Living Room there are five plinths for the statues to pose on. The two housemates posing as The Kiss by Rodin must pose on one plinth together.

The competitor who holds their pose the longest without moving will become this week’s new Head of House.

For this week’s Big Brother shopping task, housemates will take part in the Big Brother Games 2008.

In order to win a luxury shopping budget, all housemates must compete in the games. Head of House Michael will organise the games and become the Head Coach. Today, housemates must create and perform an opening ceremony, worthy of such a prestigious event – organised and led by the Head of House. Later today, housemates must train, led by the Head of House, in preparation for tomorrow’s events day.

OPENING CEREMONY PERFORMANCE
The Opening Ceremony will consist of a performance created by housemates. The ceremony must be organised by the Head of House and be written and choreographed by housemates, under the leadership of Head of House. All housemates are permitted to suggest ideas regarding the opening ceremony performance to the Head of House, but the Head of House must decide what form the ceremony takes. Housemates must perform their routine to music provided by Big Brother.
Housemates will be given approximately one hour to write and practice their opening ceremony performance. The performance may take any form of original visual or dramatic art that housemates decide on, as long as it is fitting for the occasion. Housemates must not copy any routine they may have seen elsewhere – the performance must be original.

OPENING CEREMONY PARADE
After the performance has taken place, Big Brother will instruct each housemate to run around the track in the garden, holding their flag. Big Brother will call each housemate onto the track in alphabetical order. Once a housemate is running round the track, they must continue running round the track until Big Brother announces that the parade is over. While housemates run round the track in the parade, the Head of House must stand on the podium.

OPENING CEREMONY SPEECH
After housemates have run around the track, Big Brother will instruct the Head of House to make a short speech to signify the opening of the games. The speech should contain a few words about each competitor and inspire housemates to perform at their best.

TRAINING
All housemates, other than the Head of House must complete circuit training in preparation for tomorrow’s events. The circuit-training will be against the clock. The circuit will consist of running, swimming and aerobic exercise. The Head of House will oversee and motivate housemates throughout their training.

Today housemates must give up their hair in order to win a special reward.
Earlier today, Big Brother gathered housemates on the sofas in the living room to receive instructions for today’s task.

The housemates were informed that today, Big Brother will be providing them with a very special reward, but that reward has a price.

In the small task room Big Brother has set up a barber shop complete with barbers chair, mirrors, scissors, clippers and most importantly, a jar.

The Head of House must choose one person to become the Big Brother Barber. This person will be responsible for cutting the other housemates hair. The Big Brother Barber must fill the jar provided with housemates’ hair in order to receive the special reward.

Each housemate may give as much or as little hair as they see fit, but if the jar is not filled up housemates will receive nothing.

If housemates agree to give up the required amount of hair, BB will provide them with a very special reward.

For today’s task, heavenly housemates will be competing against housemates from hell to build models of the ‘Millennium Dome’ and ‘St Paul’s Cathedral’ out of cake.

The current Head of House Rachel will decide the winning team. The winning team will then decide amongst themselves which one of their team members will become the new Head of House.

Head of House Rachel will be called to the Diary Room later today. Big Brother will explain that for today’s task heaven will compete against hell to bake London.

One team will tackle Sir Christopher Wren’s epic St Paul’s Cathedral whilst the other team will recreate the Millennium Dome. Rachel must decide which side of the house will bake which landmark. Housemates are told that the winning team will receive a ’special reward’.

Each team will have four hours in which to bake each of the monuments from scratch.

Housemates will be provided with eggs, flour, milk and other cooking utilities and equipment in order to create their buildings. Housemates will also be provided with cake decorations, icing and sweets to decorate their cakes as everything on the cake must be edible.

All cake preparation will be done in the specially designed ‘baking room’ which will be in the task room, and the models will be constructed on special boards in the garden. Housemates will be dressed as construction workers for the duration of the task apart from Head of House Rachel who will be dressed as a giant cup cake!

After four hours, Rachel will be asked to judge the cakes based on their taste and similarity to the actual monuments. Once Rachel has announced the winning team, Big Brother will reveal that this team will have to choose the new Head of House from one of their team members. They will have one minute to do this.
