Steps singer, Claire Richards, has revealed in her autobiography that at one point she had put on so much weight that music mogul, Simon Cowell, didn’t recognise her when they bumped into each other on holiday.
According to the Sun newspaper, Richards, who nearly doubled her body weight to 16 and a half stone after the band split in 2001, had to have Cowell reminded who she was by his girlfriend at the time, Terri Seymour.

Terri Seymour has moved out of Simon Cowell’s LA mansion, two years after they split up.
The stunning TV presenter, who dated the X Factor boss for six years, has taken her stuff from the £3 million mansion he bought her in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles shortly before they split in 2008.
The move comes two weeks after Simon, 51, bought new homes for his fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy and her parents Sayed and Mary.
Now Terri will live in her own Hollywood house, which is also worth £3 million and boasts a pool, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a state-of-the-art kitchen.

Simon Cowell’s ex-girlfriend is worried about introducing him to her boyfriend.
Terri Seymour has remained friends with the music mogul – who she dated for five years until 2008 – but he has not yet met French hotelier Olivier Lordonnais, who she has been in a relationship with for a year, because she needs to write “a script” for their conversation.
She said: “They haven’t met because Simon will tease him so much. I will need to brief Olivier and tell him word for word what Simon will say and then I need to write the script for what he has to say back.

Simon Cowell’s ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour has been talking to the Press Association about the terrifying attack on her that took place outside the studios where American Idol was being filmed.
It seems that a “crazed fan”, Janice Thibodeaux, launched herself at Terri and tried to strangle her, apparently in retaliation for Terri playfully pretending to throttle judge Paula Abdul a week prior to the attack. Read more & comment »
