Fans of Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly will of course know that her marriage to DJ and quiz show host Vernon Kay suffered a rocky patch after it was claimed he’d had a relationship with former Celebrity Big Brother star, Rhian Sugden…
However, once the story broke in the media – it was claimed Vernon shared explicit text messages with Rhian – Vernon publicly apologised for his behaviour and for the embarrassment it had caused Tess.

It’s been revealed today that Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly has landed a deal worth around £300,000 to become the new ‘face’ of cosmetics giant L’Oréal Paris.
She’ll join former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole as the company’s “brand ambassador” for 2013, and will appear in TV adverts, magazines and a whole host of other advertising campaigns for the French firm.

Before she became a TV personality, Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly – who is of course married to DJ and telly host Vernon Kay – was a model with a high-flying career…
However, in an interview with the Daily Mirror today, Tess has revealed that although modeling may seem like a glamorous career, it is in fact a world with a very dark side where drug taking and eating disorders are the norm.

Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has apparently begged her husband, Splash! presenter Vernon Kay, to stop wearing shorts, which she’s branded as, “Embarrassing.”
The Sunday People reports that Tess made her appeal to Vernon after he was “ridiculed” on Twitter for his outfits.
She said, “I was so embarrassed when I saw Vernon in those shorts.
“I was like: ‘Eurgh, they’ve just got to go, you’re not wearing those again.’ I knew people would laugh at him.” Read more & comment »

Newsreader Michael Buerk has blasted Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly, branding her a “pneumatic air head” in a rant over the BBC’s coverage of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee earlier this year.
Writing for The Mail on Sunday, Buerk remarked, “The one enduring British institution [the Monarchy] was mocked by another that had shamefully lost its way.

Two weekends ago the entire nation was shocked, and slightly concerned at the absence of Sir Bruce Forsyth on Strictly Come Dancing.
Sir Bruce, who has co-hosted the show since its launch back in 2004, had announced at the beginning of the series that he would be taking the weekend before Wembley off, many thought to rest after Children In Need that same week, but still the show wasn’t quite the same.

Victoria Pendleton isn’t happy….no change there then.
The Strictly Come Dancing star hasn’t yet ended up in the bottom two danceoff during the series, despite finishing near the bottom of the leaderboard on a number of occasions. The public are voting to save her but it seems that their support isn’t enough for the Olympic cyclist.
She has been complaining about the way that Tess Daly announces the results each week, and how long it takes the presenter to reveal that she and Brendan Cole are safe from elimination.

Whist many of us were shocked and slightly saddened to see a lack of Bruce Forsyth during last weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing entertainment, it would seem the absence of the legendary host didn’t do the ratings any harm whatsoever!
Sir Bruce Forsyth announced back in September that he would be taking the week before Wembley off from the hit BBC dancing talent show, leaving co-host Tess Daly to fill his legendary dancing shoes as show host.

Tess Daly has admitted that she just can’t keep her eyes off some of the contestants on Strictly Come Dancing this year.
We have found ourselves ogling Louis Smith, James Jordan and the lovely Artem week in, week out on the BBC series to date but it seems that married star Tess has more of an eye for the ladies.

Simon Cowell may be doing his best to beat them in the ratings but Tess Daly has revealed that the music mogul is actually a big fan of Strictly Come Dancing.
Cowell is the man behind ITV’s X Factor, which goes head to head with the BBC dance show each weekend. Last year it lost out in the ratings battle more Saturdays than not and in 2012 it’s been reported that Simon has ordered a number of changes to the live shows, in order to better compete with Strictly.
