Former Apprentice candidate, Lindi Mngaza, has dumped her boyfriend of three years so she can start a relationship with fellow contestant, Michael Sophocles.
Mngaza’s ex-boyfriend Donovan O’Hagan is said to be upset by the callous way he has been treated.
A friend of Donovan told The People: “He’s a gentle giant who wouldn’t hurt a fly. But inside he is furious about what Lindi and Michael have done. They have humiliated him. He had planned to marry her and start a family but all of that has been blown away now. Read more & comment »
Apprentice candidate, Claire Young, has reportedly revealed that some really aggressive arguments and scenes have been cut from the BBC One reality TV show.
Whilst on holiday in Spain, Claire confided in fellow holiday makers that during an argument one of the candidates actually got hit!
“There are all these egos in one room, there was a lot of bad swearing and it got really aggressive,” she explained. “A lot had to be cut out. On one task someone even got hit.”
According to the Sunday Mirror, Claire also admitted that after seeing herself on TV she has become very insecure about her appearance. Read more & comment »
Sir Alan Sugar’s right hand woman, Margaret Mountford has spoken out about her newfound fame since appearing on BBC One show, The Apprentice.
“I was very innocent about it really. The recognition took me by surprise,” Margaret told the Daily Mail. “I don’t mind when people come up and say: ‘Who’s going to win?’
“But sometimes they invade your personal space. Say you’re in a check-in queue, there’s 25 minutes of queue ahead and the person next to you says: ‘You’re from The Apprentice aren’t you?’ They want to stand really close and go on and on about the series. I don’t like that.” Read more & comment »
I just knew it! Didn’t I say earlier today that scenes from last night’s Apprentice show, with Claire and co bullying Sara, reminded me of Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty from Celebrity Big Brother?
It seems I was closer to the truth than I realised. In fact Apprentice wannabe Claire Young is rumoured to have auditioned for Channel 4 reality TV show, Big Brother, three times.
A work colleague told The Daily Star: “Claire’s a real larger-than-life character who is desperate for fame. I wasn’t at all surprised to see her land a place on The Apprentice – she’s a real go-getter. Read more & comment »
Did anyone else feel uncomfortable when watching The Apprentices’ gang up on Sara last night? It was almost like watching Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty all over again!
I was seriously proud of Raef when he tried to stand up for Sara and bring the discussion to a close, but with poisonous characters like Jenny and Claire in the room, he really didn’t stand a chance!
Last night’s Apprentice was great and for once, I felt the right person got fired.
Kevin, the Matt Lucas lookalike was arrogant and big headed. That would have been ok if had the business skill to back it up, but one look at him pointing his finger in the face of the Clinton Cards buying team and I knew he was going home!
Heres the moment when Sir Alan decides that Kevin had to go……
On the Apprentice ast night we saw Satellite TV engineer and former soldier Simon Smith get the boot from Sir Alan as the business moghul declared that he was out of his depth.
The teams in last night’s show had to set up their own photography stands in a busy shopping centre and Simon’s team seemed to be plagued by Claire Young and Alex Wortherspoon from the off. The pair tore Simon’s team apart, rather than backing their leader and though the three ended up in the boardroom with Sir Alan decided that being a grafter just wasn’t enough, so he sent Simon the squaddie home.
I was disappointed in Sir Alan once more last night as I actually thought that Simon was a breath of fresh air in the show. He was willing to work hard and put his neck on the line, with very little macho posturing in comparison to the other men. Read more & comment »
Here’s a quick preview clip from tomorrow night’s Apprentice show. Watch as team leader Simon tries to appoint Alex as leader of his second team and Alex wrangles out of it quicker that you can say Alan Sugar!
So is Alex just plain lazy or is he scared of being in any position of responsibility in case he ends up in the board room once more?
Ok, so maybe thats a small white lie! In this weeks Apprentice episode the teams will have to set up their own photo agency, and though they don’t actually meet Mr Beckham himself, they do get to shoot a pretty good lookalike.
It might sound very easy, but the candidates don’t just have to take the photos, they have to develop them too. Watch the tempers flare!
