It’s been officially confirmed today that a reality TV show based on the lives of UK girl group The Saturdays – which is made up of singers Una Healy,Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White – has been axed by American TV network, E!
Chasing The Saturdays debuted in January of this year, and E! network president Suzanne Kolb, who said of the show, “The Saturdays are a pop phenomenon with magnetic appeal and tremendous talent.

Little Mix have revealed that they would love to have their own US reality TV show to give a better insight to their world for their fans, just like both The Saturdays and The Wanted have recently done.
The foursome confessed they would want to film the show themselves to give a better insight into their world as they try to crack the US. This comes after they were ‘overwhelmed’ by the response to their music in America as they begin to take their music stateside.

Fans of JLS star Marvin Humes – who of course shot to fame on X Factor – and his wife, The Saturdays singer Rochelle, will of course know that they’re eagerly awaiting the birth of their first baby…
And just like all expectant parents, Rochelle and Marvin have been busy getting things ready for the arrival of the bubby, and as has become a tradition – that we imported from America – these days, Rochelle has been treated to a baby shower.
However, it seems that several of her friends decided to buy her a pram for her new baby, and so she and Marvin have ended up with five luxury baby buggies! Read more & comment »

Rochelle Humes has always been close to one Direction but tonight she managed to stay mostly impartial when she tweeted about their recent Twitter feud.
We reported this morning that Louis Tomlinson engaged in an online war with The Wanted’s Tom Parker, after the latter took offence at being slagged during a recent 1D concert.

Fans of girl band The Saturdays will of course know that the group have their own reality TV show on US network, E! however it seems the show could be axed unless the band members, Frankie Sandford, Mollie King, Una Healy, Vanessa White and Rochelle Humes “put more drama” into it to keep viewers hooked.
The Daily Star reports, “Chasing The Saturdays premiered on E! Entertainment in January, but it hasn’t exactly set the world alight across the pond.
“Now TV execs have given the girls – currently celebrating their first No 1 single What About Us – a last-chance ultimatum to boost the ratings.” Read more & comment »

As we reported last week, fans of Girls Aloud – who of course reformed for about three minutes last year – were upset to hear that following their hugely successful tour, the band announced that they were splitting for good.
Since then, it’s been reported that the split was so that the band’s members could concentrate on other interests – and on becoming mums – however, many have, rightly or wrongly, been pointing the finger at Cheryl Cole, claiming that she “forced” the parting of the ways.
However, what the truth is we may never know, but as mentioned, many fans were upset at the news, and today it’s been revealed that girl group The Saturdays were also saddened to hear about it. Read more & comment »

Fans of X Factor stars JLS will doubtless know that band member Marvin Humes is about to become a daddy when his The Saturdays singer wife Rochelle gives birth to their bubby in around eight weeks time…
So of course, the pregnancy is a hot topic right now, and while appearing on Lorraine Kelly’s show, a glowing Rochelle remarked that the new addition is likely to be “lanky” just like his or her daddy.

Fans of gorgeous girl band The Saturdays – which comprises singers Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White – will no doubt know that the girls recently starred in their own reality TV show on E! entitled, Chasing The Saturdays…
And they’ve recently brought out their new album of the same name, which features four of the girls’ Top 10 singles, All Fired Up, Higher, Notorious and Ego as well as their new single, What About Us, featuring Sean Paul.
So the future could well be bright for the girls in the music biz, however, if it turns out that it’s not, they have a backup plan, and that is to open a traditional British chippy in America! Read more & comment »

The Saturdays have been round the block a few times and know how to play the fame game and they have admitted that they haven’t been surprised by One Direction and Little Mix’s latest problems.
Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White formed in 2007 and have faced their fair share of tabloid scandals and they revealed that they feel ‘quite bad’ for Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik as they go through a period of intense speculation.

The Saturdays have been working hard across the pond in recent months in a bid to crack America but it seems there was something more to be excited about other than a boosted bank balance and extensive travel – Jennifer Lopez’s behind.
