Christina Aguilera to return to The Voice USA!

It’s been confirmed that former The Voice USA Coach, Christina Aguilera, will make her comeback to the show when it returns for the new series next year.

The singer took a break from the show last year after three consecutive seasons as a coach on the hit US show so that she could focus on her latest studio album.

Pink: “I turned down X Factor, American Idol and The Voice!”

Now that all the judging seats are finally taken on both X Factor’s, singer Pink has come out and claimed she was offered a job on the US version of the show, but turned it down.

Not just the X Factor either it would seem, as she has also claimed to have turned down judging jobs on both American Idol and The Voice US.

X Factor 2012: Simon Cowell accuses The Voice of stealing from him!

Music Mogul, Simon Cowell, has come out and blasted The Voice again, this time claiming that the format is stolen from him!

The X Factor puppeteer, who has been very vocal about his feelings toward the BBC rival talent show that threatened his beloved Britain’s Got Talent last year, has made claims over format theft in a recent interview, according to the Mirror newspaper.

The Voice US: Adam Levine denies rift with Christina Aguilera

As fans of The Voice US will know, there have been rumours circulating that coaches Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera aren’t overly fond of each, and various media outlets have stated that during filming for the show’s second season, Maroon 5 front man Adam and Christina bitched constantly.

However, while speaking to MTV News, Adam – who performed with his band on The Voice UK last month – claims that the rumours are “BS.”

He said, “We bickered a little bit in the beginning, to be totally truthful, we had a little bit of a rough start, just kind of all getting to know each other.”

The Voice UK: Cee Lo Green could replace Will.i.am next year!

It’s been reported today that US singer Cee Lo Green could be set to replace The Voice UK coach Will.i.am in a major shake-up of the show for its second series next year.

Cee Lo is of course a coach on the US version of the show, and it seems he’s considered “more popular” than Will.

As of right now, none of this year’s UK coaches have signed on for another year with the show, and only Danny O’Donoghue has told the media that he’ll definitely return if asked.

A show source told TV Biz, “Only Danny seems to be 100 per cent on board for series two.

American Idol runner up, Adam Lambert, says The X Factor USA & The Voice are “great”

American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert, has revealed that he thinks new rival reality talent shows, X Factor USA and The Voice, are “great” for the music industry.

Speaking to The AP, Lambert, made famous from the hit US talent show in which he came second to Kris Allen in the final, said that he was happy with the influx of singing competitions being added to televised programming, saying:”I think that it’s great that there are shows [like The Voice and The X Factor] out there giving people that platform.”

The Voice US: Adam Levine to star in American Horror Story!

Adam Levine, The Voice US coach and Maroon 5 lead singer, is reportedly lined up to star in season two of hit drama, American Horror Story, which is of course penned by Glee creator, Ryan Murphy.

Entertainment Weekly state that Adam is “in final negotiations” with FX to play one half of a couple who will be called simply, The Lovers.

Cinema Blend adds that season two of American Horror Story has a “contemporary timeline set in an East Coast mental institution.”

And apparently, the show’s executives are so keen to work with Adam, they’re fully prepared to shift their filming schedule around to fit in with his touring with Maroon 5, and his filming for the next season of The Voice.

The second season of American Horror Story is due to premiere in October in the States, with original cast members Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Lily Rabe rather mysteriously returning as different characters… Read more & comment »
