VIDEO: Tim Vincent Advertising Ethical Valentines Day Gifts..

Now I know that Tim Vincent has had a bad week, what with getting kicked out of Dancing On Ice and all that, but I didn’t think his career had slipped this low.

If we listened to Tim, he would have us believe that he was just about to conquer the American TV industry, but surely if this was true, the ’superstar’ wouldn’t have the time to film this slightly cheesy government advertisment for ethical Valentines day gifts.

Tim Vincent Leaves Dancing On Ice

Dancing On Ice 2008: Tim Vincent

Tonight, TV presenter Tim Vincent became the fifth celebrity to leave ITV’s Dancing On Ice.

At the end of the results show, Tim Vincent and Steve Backley found themselves in the skate off having received the least public votes. It was a unanimous decision from the judges and they all chose to save Steve Backley.

Tim Vincent: “It’s been fantastic every week been fantastic but I’ve found my level this week, everyone has been brilliant.”

To be honest I think that once again the judges made the right decision, not only was Tim a pretty bad skater, but with his frequent trips to America, he never seemed as committed Read more & comment »

Dancing On Ice 2008: Natalie Pinkham Leaves The Show

With accidents and agony galore this week, the celebrities prepared to go head to head for the second time. Having to incorporate the required element of the week, a lunge into a spiral into each of their routines, many of the celebrities were left moaning about bruised groins!

Natalie Pinkham and Tim Vincent who found themselves in the bottom two receiving the least public votes. In the end, two out of the three judges chose to save Tim VIncent.

Natalie said: “Honestly I’ve had the best time. The guys are the best and everyone says it but its true.”

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t think either Natalie or Tim deserved to go this week. Aggie is a trouper, but she is certainly not talented or graceful. Why do the British public love the underdog?

Dancing On Ice 2008: Tim Vincent

TV presenter and actor Tim Vincent, 35, has a particularly unique worry about his Dancing On Ice training – that of protecting certain parts of his anatomy during a certain move.

“There’s a manoeuvre that I have to do where I pull Victoria my partner through my legs. I have to keep remembering to stand as
tall as possible as I pull her through otherwise she hits me right you know where. This isn’t very nice on the ice and can really hurt. It’s certainly a sharp reminder for the next time to stand up tall.”

With a successful career in Los Angeles, currently presenting a regular slot on NBC’s Access Hollywood as well as a brand new show called Phenomenon,Tim has to fit in training in between transatlantic flights, as he lives in New York.

“At one point I did 75 hours flying time in 7 weeks. LA to New York to London every single week and so my training has been minimal. Minimal and miserable because I was getting up at 6am to try and do an hour and a half on the ice which was basically just skating around and getting used to being on the ice and not really learning anything. Now I’m back on track with three hours of training a day. Chris and Jayne are so nice and the coaches are so encouraging. You do baby steps and then they point out a week ago you wouldn’t have been able to do what you’re doing now which is true. You’ve got to ignore how good the other people are and just concentrate on your own situation.” Read more & comment »
