The famously flamboyant Llewelyn-Bowen family open their doors to LIVING viewers again this week, as the exclusive reality show To The Manor Bowen continues. This series follows the colourful clan as they swap the stresses of the city for a more sedate life in the country.

This week’s episode sees work begin on the family’s 400 year old manor house in the Cotswolds. Laurence wants to remodel the whole house while the family are living there, but when the work starts he shoots off to a celeb appearance, leaving wife Jackie to hold the fort.

However, when the tables are turned and Laurence is left in charge he struggles to cope, resulting in a double booking. The mishap means Jackie will have to work on her weekend – it’s not welcome news for the lady of the manor.

In a flurry of chintzy fabric, manes of perfectly-coiffed hair and language that would make Gordon Ramsay blush, the brand new reality show To The Manor Bowen starts its exclusive run on LIVING this week. This series follows the famously flamboyant Llewelyn-Bowen family as they attempt to set up home in the country. Interior designer Laurence (famed for shows such as Changing Rooms and Home Front), wife Jackie and children Cecile and Hermione are moving from London to the Cotswolds in search of the good life – though quite how the colourful clan will go down with the locals remains to be seen, especially if they intend to bring their unique sense of style to bare on their new country pile.

Laurence is loathe to leave the capital, but when Jackie suggests it’s a little passe to live there after 40 he concedes it might be time to head for pastures new. The unconventional pair see themselves as ambassadors of posh who are perfectly placed to be the new Lord and Lady of the manor, but even their kids are dubious about their parents’ aristocratic credentials. Each week, the show follows the dynamic duo as they set about renovating their new but dilapidated 17th-century home, putting their own eccentric stamp on it. How will their style go down with the neighbours?

As Jackie becomes manager of the move, she also has to supervise the relocation of the Llewelyn-Bowen interior design business. With Laurence continually being called to London and struggling to adjust to his new commuter lifestyle, will Jackie cope with her new dual status as businesswoman extraordinaire and domestic goddess, or buckle under the strain?
