Tired of seeing ladies dressed in tracksuits, fleeces, trainers and parka jackets they want people to embrace a little bit of glamour in their wardrobes and their lives.
Recruiting five ladies who have lost their sparkle, Trinny and Susannah set about glamorising them for a night on the town and showing them how they can retain their new look everyday. Then it’s time for a bigger challenge as they revamp the wardrobes of an entire team of factory workers to prove to the nation that a little bit of glamour can go a long way.

Trinny and Susannah have a passion for colour, but it is a passion the rest of the nation appears not to share.
Embarking on a mission to champion colour, the girls aim to dispel the myth that black is slimming, devise a set of colour rules that the whole nation can follow and launch a campaign to bring colour back to the streets of Britain.
Beginning their campaign in the heart of London, Trinny and Susannah meet women from all over Britain who have journeyed to their famous pink pod to address their colour phobia.
Inspired by one of the worst offenders they meet in the pod, 31-year-old Natalie, Trinny and Susannah travel to her home in Essex to take their campaign to the suburbs. Read more & comment »

The British bottom has been forgotten – out of sight, out of mind and, for some, a source of horror.
Trinny and Susannah take a group of ladies who are ‘bottom-phobic’ on a journey to help them learn to love and dress their bums.
To kick start their mission Trinny and Susannah pose nude for a life drawing class, where the features of the paintings are their backsides.
Having dealt with many women’s, and men’s, body issues in previous programmes, the girls know they’re in for a tough task to make women be objective about their bottoms. Read more & comment »

British fashionistas, Trinny and Susannah, have signed a US TV deal with Disney.
The pair are due to shoot a pilot makeover show in America next month.
Trinny revealed: “Upheaval strikes terror in Susannah’s heart — with three children and having moved to the country.
“The hardest thing is how we can work there but not leave England for too long, so we would kind of commute.”
And Susannah, 46, told Heart FM: “If America comes up, great. If it doesn’t, ‘what the hell’.
“If I start thinking about that, I go into a complete panic. I really don’t want it to happen. We’re very happy here.” Read more & comment »

Famously slender style guru Trinny Woodall was shocked to discover she has the so-called fat gene FTO, while her co-presenter Susannah Constantine does not.
The girls took a DNA test for their new ITV series The Great British Body, along with over hundred other volunteers as part of an investigation in to the gene. It is believed to increase a person’s propensity to put on weight if they are a carrier, and may increase their weight by up to half a stone compared to those who don’t have the gene.
Susannah said: “I was astonished, and over the moon. I’m not going to pretend I’m going to be magnanimous in victory…I know it’s down to genes and no one can help it [the result], but I’m quite elated! And meanwhile my fat friend here [to Trinny] I don’t know what you’re going to do?!”
Trinny: “I’m probably going to have my croissant and cappuccino!” Read more & comment »

They’ve boosted breasts, made over men, glamorised grannies and now Trinny and Susannah embark on their biggest challenge to date – revamping British uniforms.
A man in uniform may be every woman’s fantasy but the reality of Britain’s company attire is far from flattering. From paramedics to traffic wardens, dinner ladies to couriers, the country’s badly dressed workforce are about to get a serious dressing down.
Despite being worth a massive £430 million pounds a year, Trinny and Susannah soon discover, thanks to the pink pod, that the nation’s uniforms are largely made up of ‘fleeces, shirts, and ill-fitting trousers’.
In an attempt to revamp one company’s uniform, the girls have joined force with supermarket chain Somerfield to redesign their uniform to accommodate 42,000 workers. They head to Birmingham to road test the existing uniform and work alongside the supermarket’s staff. Read more & comment »
