With six couples left in the competition, this week the Judges have set the contestants a challenge, from here on in they make their own decisions, from choosing the songs to their styling and make-up. If there is any criticism from the Judges then they only have themselves to blame. And tonight?s theme, set by David Ian was musicals.
But for one couple their Grease journey has come to an end and this week the decision rested on David Ian’s shoulders and making the most difficult decision so far in the competition. But the Judges were unanimous and for Wayne and Hayley it’s the end of the road as they chose to save Bradley and Michelle, who the Judges felt had much more to offer.

Split from their original Bootcamp partners Wayne and Hayley were put together by the Judges because they felt they both shared a cheeky charm which viewers would fall in love with. And they were hoping that 26 year old Wayne would bring out the sexy side to sweet 18 year old Hayley.
Wayne Smith got a big thumbs-up from all the judges and is astonished by his progress through the rounds so far.
The 26-year-old cabaret singer from Preston has been performing mainly at holiday parks for the last five years and hopes to one day sing in the US, after taking a holiday in LA and falling in love with the country.
Despite admitting he was not fully aware of his own capabilities Wayne is remaining grounded. Read more & comment »

The Story So Far…
* Wayne got big thumbs-up from all of the Judges. Sinitta said that he had a ‘nice body, good look and sang well’. David Gest said that he preferred the singing to the dancing and David Ian said ‘as usual David Gest is wrong, Sinitta and Brian are right’.
* On the final day of Bootcamp, all of the judges were really impressed with him. David Ian said ‘I like him more and more, he looked really good’. Sinitta said ‘he did the job, he’s very exciting’. Read more & comment »
