Westlife returned to the X Factor stage tonight, for their fourth live performance on the show.
The Irish band have appeared on every series of the ITV show since 2008 and in comparison to Coldplay – who will perform on the show for the first time this evening – they are old hands at all this reality TV stuff!
To celebrate their farewell tour and Greatest Hits album, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan took to the stage this evening to perform their hit single ‘What About Now.’

It has been reported that X Factor bosses are saving the two biggest acts from it’s final lineup to perform on tomorrow night’s series grand finale.
While Leona Lewis, Michael Buble, One Direction and JLS will all take to the stage this evening, when the live shows hit Wembely Arena, Coldplay and Westlife will perform tomorrow evening, just before the series winner is announced.

Westlife are coming back to the X Factor…yes again!
The boys have performed on the ITV show more than a lot of the contestants and earlier today they confirmed that they will be returning to the stage for this week’s grand finale.
The show will be staged in Wembley Arena on Saturday and Sunday night and on their official Twitter feed, Westlife revealed:

Shane Filan has admitted that while he is a big Marcus Collins fan, he didn’t particularly enjoy his final performance on last night’s X Factor semi final.
The former hairdresser got great feedback from the judges after his first performance of the classic track ‘My Girl but after his rendition of ‘Can You Feel It’ they weren’t quite so positive and said that ‘something was missing.’

Shane Filan has admitted that he is a big fan of Amelia Lily’s on The X Factor.
The Westlife star was in London’s Fountain Studios last night, watching all the final four perform on the semi-final show and speaking afterwards on The X Factor, he admitted that the 17 year old blew him away.

Louis Walsh was said to be ‘devastated’ when he found out that Westlife were breaking up.
The Irish star put the band together more than a decade ago and has managed them ever since, but as they plan their final goodbye tour, Shane Filan from the group admitted that their mentor was less than happy when they broke the news.

Now that Westlife is disbanding Nicky Byrne finds himself at a bit of a loose end and he knows just how he wants to fill the gap.
The blonde singer has had enough of music for the time being and wants to try his hand at TV presenting and he’s eyeing up Dermot O’Leary’s X Factor job.
The 33 year old told The Daily Star that he’s love to host a popular show like the ITV series and given that Simon Cowell used to be his record label boss, he has contacts in all the right places.

Louis Walsh never struck us as the loyal type, but it seems that he does feel very strongly about Irish man band Westlife.
The Irish star has managed the group – consisting of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Shane Filan and formerly Brian McFadden – since 1998 and admitted in a recent interview that he once fell out with his fellow X Factor judge Cheryl Cole when she slagged the boys off.
No doubt Cole made a remark about the cheesy music, the use of stools or the predictable key changes in Westlife songs, but Louis was having none of it and speaking to heat magazine, Walsh said he couldn’t put up with “derogatory” comments about the boyband.

Westlife recently announced that they were leaving Simon Cowell’s record label and this week they explained that they felt they no longer had his attention or dedication.
The Irish boyband signed with The now X Factor boss before he was famous himself and speaking to The Sun, Nicky Byrne said that once his focus shifted to his hugely popular TV shows, he lost interest in their careers.

Westlife have revealed that they have left Simon Cowell’s SYCO record label.
The Irish man band had been signed with the X Factor boss for 13 years but had become one of the few acts on the company’s books who weren’t reality TV stars.
The boys have admitted that it is now “time for a change” and The Sun claims that the crooners have penned a multi-million pound deal with Sony RCA.
