A few weeks ago, we reported that former The Voice finalist Bo Bruce had blamed the BBC for the fact that her burgeoning romance with her mentor Danny O’Donoghue ended, and at the time, she promised that her hurt and upset over it would be “explained” in songs on her new album…
But today it’s been revealed that Bo has intimated that she would rather have had coach Will.i.am mentor her on the show, rather than Script front man Danny. Read more & comment »

The Voice coaches Will.i.am, Jessie J, Danny O’Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones have always been at pains to point out that – according to them, unlike Britain’s Got Talent or X Factor – wannabes on The Voice are treated like artists and are never “humiliated” onstage for “the pleasure of the viewing public”.
In various rants about Simon Cowell’s shows, the coaches have also blasted how BGT and X Factor judges reject some hopefuls, and as well as accusing them of humiliating acts, they’ve accused the shows of being “cruel.”

The Voice coach Will.i.am has reportedly been told off by BBC chiefs after he said “s**t” during last Saturday’s semi-finals show, which of course aired live…

The Voice coach Will.i.am has frequently criticized last year’s winner Leanne Mitchell, and has made no secret of the fact that in his opinion, her fellow finalist Tyler James was a far more worthy winner…
However, he took his condemnation of Leanne to a new level when, during last night’s live semi-final, he remarked, “We know who won last year and didn’t make it to the top ten…”
He made the comment while praising this year’s finalist Leah McFall, who he has of course been mentoring this year. Read more & comment »

Fans of The Voice will of course know that during last night’s live semi-finals, coach Will.i.am – as Cleo Higgins exclusively told us he would – performed a break dance as he, Cleo and the now finalist Leah McFall sang a cover version of Blondie’s track, Rapture.
However, it’s been revealed today that the show’s bosses wanted to use professional dancers during the performance as they feared Will might break something – such as his neck – as he flung himself around onstage.
But it seems the stubborn Black Eyed Peas star was having none of it and insisted on doing the dancing himself. Read more & comment »

Cleo Higgins and Leah McFall may have been vying with one another and competing for the last place on Team Will.i.am this evening, but there was no trace of bad feeling when they performed together on The Voice stage tonight.
The ladies know they are both hoping to win just one spot with the US star in next week’s grand finale, but they didn’t let the fact that they were going head to head affect their performance with coach Will one bit.
