X Factor: Joelle Moses Wows The Judges

As the X Factor judges left Glasgow and returned to London, 17 year old Joelle Moses from West Drayton hoped that she could prove to her mum that her prediction as a small child that she would be famous one day is going to come true. X Factor: Peter Lee’s Auditioning For The Wrong Show!

You gotta love the older X factor auditionees, especially the ones who don’t know what show they’re on! On tomorrow night’s X factor show, Peter Lee from Kilmarnock, describes his act as a “dying art that can get the crowd going” and he hopes he’s got a chance of success and as he’d love the opportunity to “appear on the Royal Variety show”. But hold on a minute Peter I think you have the wrong show here, Peter has come along to win but it looks like he’s rocked up to audition at the wrong show, “I’ve entered Britain’s Got Talent because I see it would be a great achievement in life and prove nothing is impossible”. On tomorrow night’s X Factor show, one boy that inadvertently gets the ladies hot under the collar is 22 year old Joseph Chukukere from South Yorks, with Cheryl declaring “you are absolutely gorgeous” as he walks in, and Simon seems slightly put out that there is a man more attractive than him in the room with him declaring to Cheryl, “it was the way you were looking at him, it was how a dog looks at a can of food when it’s hungry!”. Daniel Evans Brings X Factor’s Next Sob Story!

UPDATE: OK, so I actually watched Daniel’s audition tonight and I admit to being moved to tears. I wouldn’t like him to get through to the finals on the basis of his story alone. But he is a great singer and his story was certainly very moving.

Not that I am a cynical person, but I can smell an X Factor sob story a mile off and I am sure we are in for a big one on tomorrow night’s X Factor show.

Father of three 38 year old Daniel Evans from Essex came to the auditions with his Mum and youngest daughter, 11 month old Anna Maria. Daniel is a pool cleaner but explains he does whatever he can at the moment to make money but he’s come to the auditions today as it’s a wish his wife, and family have always had for him. Having almost applied every year for the show, this year he decided to take the plunge because he “believes life is too short and you regret more the things you don’t do than the things you do, and if I do this at least I can say to my wife I tried. To do this and have a career in singing for my family would be amazing”. Read more & comment »

Husband & Wife ‘Hard Wearin’ Kiss During X Factor Audition!

Hoping to be the first husband and wife duo to win the X Factor are loved u couple Lyndsey and Lee Wearin from Chesterfield who together are Hard Wearin. As Lee explains, “the reason why we have done this is because I have been a singer for nine years professionally, and then we decided that we love each other so much that we should do this together, and when we tried we found it did come so natural. We could go all the way because we are a married couple and you don’t get that much in the entertainment industry so we could set up our own niche in the market”. Read more & comment »

Rikki, 20 from Glasgow who works in recruitment, is desperate to do a job he is passionate about and that’s singing, but having already tried out for various variety shows and singing competitions, Rikki has found he’s always fallen at the last hurdle and never had the big break he’s always craved so much for. As Rikki enters the room, Dannii pleads with him to be good, explaining that they’ve not been having a great day in Glasgow. Read more & comment »

X Factor: Suzanne Gay’s No Whitney Houston

Tomorrow night’s X Factor show kicks off in Glasgow, and first in to see the Judges in Glasgow is 28 year old housewife Suzanne Gay from Edinburgh, and she’s confident she can impress the Judges, “people say I can sing like Whitney Houston, and I would definitely give Whitney a run for her money”. But can she follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner Scottish Leon Jackson?

Telling the Judges she’s going to sing Whitney’s classic track I have Nothing, Suzanne takes a deep breath and starts to sing, but as she starts trying to belt out the song, Simon is quick to point out she is singing the wrong song, “that was One Moment in Time not I have Nothing” so Suzanne tries again, but second time round its still One Moment in Time. X Factor: Is Ashwin Abinashi The Most Deluded Act Ever?

On tomorrow night’s X Factor show, 23 year old shop Assistant Ashwin Abinashi can’t wait for his chance to shine. Ashwin believes he has, “the potential to win the X Factor all together, I also have my own way of expressing how I sing, I have charisma. I actually want people to look up at me and see me as one of the greatest singers of all time, in my head now I can actually hear them chanting my name.” he goes on, “I have my own unique style but my mentor is Mark Owen from Take That. The only difference between me and him is that I am really going to actually “shine””.

In the room Ashwin gives Dannii and Cheryl a cheeky grin prompting Simon to comment “are you happy to see the girls?” to which Ashwin jokes, “I think they’ll be the ones happy to see me once I’ve sung” Read more & comment »

X Factor Twins Francine and Nicola Gleadall Already Had A Record Deal!

Another week, another X Factor scandal. C’est La Vie!!!

This time it is surrounding last weeks twin auditionees, Francine and Nicola Gleadall, who apparently have already been in three bands and once had their own record deal.

The Sun has reported that two years ago the twins released a cover of Slade’s Cum On Feel the Noize as Twin two years ago on But! Records.

As we all know, X Factor rules forbid acts from having record deals, but show bosses have said that they won’t penalise Francine and Nicola as their deal is not current. Read more & comment »
