Dancing On Ice: Zaraah Abrahams Will Do Bolero On Tour!

Zaraah Abrahams

Dancing On Ice runner-up, Zaraah Abrahams, revealed on GMTV this morning, that she would have loved to have done the Bolero on Sunday night, but now hopes to perform the routine during the tour.

Speaking after coming third on the ice show, Zaraah said she had a “brilliant time” taking part, despite the nerves and pressure: “The pressure was there to skate well. You can’t think about winning. If you do it throws you off. So the pressure for us was to go out there and prove that we deserve to be in the final.”

The actress described training for the Bolero as “amazing”, and said: “I hope to do it on the tour.” Zaraah’s dancing partner, Fred Palascak, added: “If you do well in the tour, at end the end of the show you get to do the Bolero so it’s just like the television show.” Continue reading ‘Dancing On Ice: Zaraah Abrahams Will Do Bolero On Tour!‘ »

Dancing On Ice: Jason Gardiner Slams Finalists

Dancing On Ice 2008

TV’s real Mr Nasty, Jason Gardiner has hit out at the two celebrities most likely to win tonight’s Dancing On Ice final.

Jason is backing Coronation Street actress Zaraah Abrahams to win, but hasn’t many nice things to say about Suzanne Shaw or Chris Fountain.

His sharp tongue lashed out at Suzanne first when he told The News Of The World:

“She’s still using the sympathy vote which is unnecessary at this stage of the competition. Skating’s dangerous - Torvill and Dean are constantly getting hurt. In the end I feel most people yawn, ‘Oh God, she’s whingeing again.”

“It’s a negative strategy and she’s good enough to be able to stand on her work alone. The bottom line is everyone’s been hurt. It’s just the way it goes.”

Jason added he believes Hollyoaks actor Chris is selfish.

“He’s not a generous partner. It’s all about Chris. He’s a young lad and he’s in a self-consumed bubble,” he says. Continue reading ‘Dancing On Ice: Jason Gardiner Slams Finalists‘ »

Dancing On Ice: Rivallry Between Suzanne Shaw and Zaraah Abrahams

Dancing On Ice 2008: Suzanne Shaw

Dancing On Ice bosses are said to be trying their best to keep Suzanne Shaw and Zaraah Abrahams apart behind the scenes of the show, due to an ever widening rift that is forming between the pair.

Zaraah Abrahams Joins Dancing On Ice

Coronation Street star Zaraah Abrahams is the latest contestant in ITV1’s Dancing on Ice, replacing GMTV’s Michael Underwood who was forced to pull out of the competition earlier this week after breaking his ankle.

Twenty year old Zaraah is best known for playing factory girl Joanna Jackson on the Street and has now taken up a role as school girl Michaela in the BBC1 drama Waterloo Road.

Having been practicing on the ice as a stand-in since November, Zaraah nevertheless had mixed feelings when she took the call and heard she was in the competition.

“I always said I’d only ever want to go in if someone couldn’t take the pressure of the competition not if someone hurt themselves. I really loved watching Michael and ironically he is the only one of the contestants I knew already, so I couldn’t believe it when I heard I would be replacing him.” Continue reading ‘Zaraah Abrahams Joins Dancing On Ice‘ »
