Ali Bastian, Natalie Cassidy and Zoe Lucker have all signed up for the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing tour. Joining them on the dancefloor will be previous contestants Kelly Brook, Austin Healey and Mark Ramprakash.

Arlene Philips, will also make a return to the judging panel and will once more sit beside Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Craig Revel Horwood

Actress Zoe Lucker tonight became the seventh celebrity to be voted off the seventh series of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.

In week seven of the competition, all 10 of the remaining celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners took to the floor to perform a variety of dances.

After tonight’s performance, the combination of the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes left Zoe Lucker and her professional partner James Jordan in the bottom two and facing the dance off with Ali Bastian and her professional partner Brian Fortuna.

Zoe and James then performed their Samba to Boogie Nights and Ali and Brian performed their Paso Doble to El Gato Montes for a second time for the judges’ deciding vote.

Handing over to the judges, Bruce Forsyth said “All I can say is I wouldn’t like to be a judge tonight”. Making their decision on who to save, the judges said.

Craig Revel Horwood: “Well what a heinous dilemma, I have to say, both couples mucked up and timing was out, for both couples that is, but I am going to save Ali and Brian.”

Alesha Dixon when asked who she would save: “Both!….Zoe and James.”

Bruno Tonioli: “They shouldn’t be there either of them, it’s ridiculous because whoever we are going to save, it’s not fair for the other person. Based on what I saw, I have to go with Ali and Brian.”

Len Goodman: “I’m sorry I know the viewers can do what they like and it’s a popularity contest and all that, this is ludicrous, it’s nonsensical that either of these are in the bottom two! There are five couples that are worse than these, but I’ve got to make a decision and as somebody said they both did go wrong, and I’m having to save Ali and Brian.”

On tonight’s show, Zoe Lucker and James Jordan were awarded 32 points for their samba by the judges.

On leaving the competition, Zoe Lucker said: “I’ve had an amazing time, James is the best teacher I have to say. I’m so sorry I couldn’t get him to Blackpool but thank you very much for the opportunity, it’s been brilliant.”

James Jordan said: “Can I just say, winning that Strictly trophy ball means everything to me, but I would never swap this wonderful lady for that ball. She’s brilliant, she’s brilliant.”

Ricky Whittle has denied rumours that he is sworn enemies with fellow Strictly contestant Zoe Lucker.

During his stint on Sky1’s Dream Team (filmed in the same place as Footballers’ Wives), Ricky named Zoe as the celebrity he “hated the most”.

However, he told Now that it is “upsetting” to read tabloids reporting about their apparent feud.

“Everyone is getting on really well and it’s a shame people just want to create fireworks backstage,” he said.

“I’m hoping Zoe will be a great friend over the next few months.”

It seems that there may be trouble between Ricky Whittle and Zoe Lucker on this years Strictly Come Dancing.

During his stint on Sky1’s Dream Team (filmed in the same place as Footballers’ Wives), Ricky named Zoe as the celebrity he “hated the most”.

He moaned: “What a stuck-up cow. We said ‘hello’ and she blanked us. She thought she was God’s gift.”

He claims she later “tried it on” with him in a bar. “It was my turn to blank her,” he laughs. “Hee, hee, revenge.”

Zoe Lucker (Strictly Come Dancing partner is James Jordan)

As Footballers’ Wives’ sultry, scheming and sexy Tanya Turner, glamorous Zoe created TV’s hardest anti-heroine and one of the most memorable female characters of the past decade. A big Strictly aficionado, Zoe is looking forward to the Latin dances and the sparkly costumes.

She admits, though, she is not naturally at ease on the dance floor: “I can confirm that the past six years have not seen me dance once. Even at weddings and social events I’m the one who sticks around on the dinner table whilst all and sundry are up on the dance floor… I just find the whole thing excruciating. I’ll have to get over that if I’m to make an impression on the show this year!”

Footballers’ Wives actress Zoe Lucker is said to have signed up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

According to The Sun, Lucker is hoping an appearance on the show will raise her profile and boost her career.

“Zoe’s really keen to sign up for Strictly,” said a source. “Over the years she’s seen how being on the show has raised profiles of the celebrities who’ve taken part, such as Alesha Dixon and Rachel Stevens.

“She feels that she’s still only really known for her part in Footballers’ Wives, which ended more than three years ago.”
