Dancing On Ice competitor, Zoe Salmon, has revealed that she is desperate to attempt the headbanger, a move where her dance partner would swing her up and down by the ankles.
“I would love to do it tomorrow. You have no idea how much I’m itching to do that,” Salmon told the Daily Record. “That’s what it’s all about for me, the big lifts and the tricks. I really hope I’ll be able to do the headbanger.”
The former Blue Peter host also admitted that she often worries about what injuries she may sustain whilst rehearsing for the show.

Dancing On Ice competitor, Zoe Salmon, has said that Todd Carty is an inspiration to the British public.
Carty may be known for his mistakes on the ice but Northern Irish Zoe believes that, in time, he may end up as good as Ray Quinn…..as if!
“He is an inspiration,” she told The Sun. “Honestly, the amount of people watching it at home that maybe want to give ice dancing a go and they think, ‘Oh no, I might not be any good at it…’ Todd is there to say give it a go.

Zoe Salmon has revealed that she gets very embarrassed by some of the racy moves she has to perform during her Dancing On Ice routines.
She explained to The Mirror: “Some of the lifts are very intimate and I’m such a prude! I mean, on date 64 you might get a kiss on the cheek if you’re lucky!
“It was a massive hurdle for me to overcome. I used to just stand on the ice and giggle because I was embarrassed.

Northern Ireland TV presenter, Zoe Salmon has said that she would be mortified if she becomes the first female voted off this years Dancing On Ice.
Zoe is up against stars like Jessica Taylor who previously took part in a similar BBC ice skating show, and revealed that she has asked Torville and Dean to spy and report back on the competition.

Northern Irish Zoe Salmon has been revealed as a competitor on this years series of Dancing On Ice on ITV1.
The 28 year old is a former Blue Peter presenter and is currently rumoured to be dating Hollyoaks star Gerard McCarthy, also from Northern Ireland.

Former Blue Peter presenter, Zoe Salmon is said to have a signed a big money deal to appear on Dancing On Ice next January.
Zoe is rumoured to be up against former page three girl Melinda Messinger, ex-Eastenders actor Todd Carty and singer Ray Quinn.

Zoe Salmon has revealed that she was “surprised and disappointed” that Colin Murray voted her out of the Fame Academy house two nights ago and chose to save Angelica instead.
How could she be surprised? It’s a singing contest….she can’t sing. And she’s not his girlfriend, Colin already has one of those.

Zöe Salmon (born 1980, in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland) is a British television presenter, currently hosting the children’s television show Blue Peter.
Early career
Salmon attended Kilmaine Primary School and Glenola Collegiate while growing up in Bangor, a town which she says is her ‘favourite place… It’s a really pretty seaside town with a marina which is lovely in the summer.’ She then attended Queen’s University of Belfast, where she gained a degree in law, before qualifying as a solicitor.
Miss Northern Ireland
Salmon was crowned Miss Northern Ireland in 1999 (beating Big Brother contestant Orlaith McAllister, who came second).
Blue Peter
Salmon was revealed as the 30th Blue Peter presenter on 25 October 2004. She first appeared on the show on 23 December 2004, in its 2004 Christmas special. She was originally meant to replace Liz Barker when the latter left on maternity leave; however, Barker had already returned, by the time Salmon made her debut. Read more & comment »
