Zoe not only criticised Sinitta but also questioned her right to judge on that type of show, saying:

“Sinitta just makes a bikini and a fur coat look good.”

She added:

“Yes, she’s done a few West End shows but she doesn’t have my expertise. She doesn’t know what’s right.”

To be honest I’d have to agree with Zoe.

The Mirror is carrying an article giving Denise’s and fellow judge, Zoe Tyler’s opinion on each of the shows finalists. Zoe is concerned by the mens acting and singing skills and makes comments such as:

“Lewis is brilliant vocally, and he’s completely adaptable. He just needs to work on his falsetto voice, which he’ll be using this weekend.”

But Denise seems more caught up with the finalists physiques and packages if you know what I mean. When asked what she thought of contestant Lewis Bradley she replied:

“He looked good in his loincloth, great physique. ”

And of Rob McVeigh she said:

“He looks good in his loincloth, he’s a nice guy and he’s given the others a run for their money.”

Someone needs to throw a bucket of cold water over that one I think!

Graham Norton hosts as the Josephs give it everything they’ve got to win this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to star in the West End. Once the panel have given their expert opinion, viewers are able to vote for their favourite. Whose dreams will be shattered? And who will still have the chance to be the public’s Joseph?

Later this evening at 9.45pm on BBC One, viewers can find out which Joseph has been voted off by the public, and which Josephs survive to perform in next week’s live show.

Zoe began her work in the West End at the age of 20 when she appeared in Les Miserables. She then went on tour with Jesus Christ Superstar, before being part of the jazz singing quartet in the award–winning City Of Angels.

After playing the role of narrator in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Zoe took a break from West End musicals to travel to South Africa and Taiwan, singing songs from the shows.

This was followed by a tour of Hong Kong and Dubai. After a couple of years touring the world, Zoe returned to the West End in the long–running musical Fame as the dance teacher.

As a recording artiste, Zoe has sung on numerous West End albums, and also those of Michael Ball and Sir Cliff Richard. Zoe has sung live as a pop backing singer with Sir Elton John, Barry Manilow and Donna Summer at Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara ball.

As well as being an accomplished singer, Zoe has filmed a BBC play with Robson Green, appeared in Doctors and a Welsh costume drama called Treflan.

She now spends most of her time as a vocal coach coaching young pop singers, and has pupils in numerous West End shows. Zoe is also a seasoned soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

As the Joseph’s vocal coach, Zoe will be working week-by-week with the finalists to prepare them for their live performances each Saturday night and act as Andrew’s right hand woman to advise who is making the grade and who should get chucked in the pit.
