Adam Freeman Pulls Out Of The Apprentice 2009

Last week we told you that one of Sir Alan’s Apprentice hopefuls pulled out of the show before it even aired and today The Sun has discovered the mysterious man’s identity.

31-year-old Adam Freeman from Essex dropped out of the BBC series shortly before the group started their first task.

Weirdly Adam is now claiming that he could have won the show but dropped out because he is too like Alan Sugar and couldn’t cope with the pressure of winning the show.

“We would be like two peas from the same pod. Sir Alan would have been all over me like a rash,” he told The Sun. “He would have wanted me to be as good as he’s been all his life.

“I’m up for a bit of pressure, but he would have whipped me silly. And I knew I would have won it. It could have been hell. Let’s face it – working for Sir Alan is no stroll in the park.”

He added: “I knew I’d win it, so I would be away for 12 weeks. I did think about bailing out after a few weeks – but I would have looked like a bottler. I’m not a bottler. I work hard and always have done.”

The Apprentice returns on BBC One tonight.

i think this guy must be an idiot to turn this down.

He sounds like a flash kid anyway saying hes like alan sugar.
    what a twat

  2. I am a great admirer of Sir Alan Sugar. He appears to be straight, astute and keeps his end of the deal.
What I cannot understand is, how on earth he tolerates the crop of backstabbing, inept wannabees on that show. Does he really retain these people and give them real jobs? Not one has impressed me and in terms of team working ability, ethics and general ability,it is a damning indictment of young would-be business people. The majority are egotistical yobs whom I would not trust to run a bath. They typify what is wrong in business today.Perhaps if I owned a double glazing company I might entertain a couple of them but it would be a stretch when there are still a number of decent, trustworthy and experienced people around.

  3. This guy is a complete idiot.

How can he just insist he would have won, when he didn’t even have the balls, (or the decency) to even turn up,… nevermind put his neck on the line like all the other contestants have done?

He is NOT like Alan Sugar,… in my eyes he’s just a quitter. (As the saying goes, “A Quitter Never Wins and a Winner Never Quits!”)

    Absolutely ludicrous
I thought he pulled out because he was missing his children
Juts like Katie Hopkins, couldn’t he think of that before even applying for the Apprentice? someone else could have taken part in the show
But this case is not unique to him and her, or even to the Apprentice (cf the Restaurant last year and of course I’m a celebrity, Big Brother etc). Those people are just desperate for a bit of fame and shouldn’t even have their names in magazines
