James McCullagh Apprentice 2012 blog – The real entrepreneurial flair was with ‘calm’ Nick Holzherr, ‘funny’ Adam Corbally & ‘creative’ Duane Bryan
All the focus after this week’s Apprentice episode, has been on the failing of the girls, but I think we are missing out on where the real entrepreneurial flair has been- on the boys team.
In week one they had a strong business model in plan, and they stuck to that. They created a bad product but knew exactly what they needed to do to win.
This week they created the better of the products. In my opinion a bin’s a bin but again they knew the market they were targeting and they hit the nail on the head.
There are a few that have stood out for me on the boys team:
Nick Holzherr: He projected managed the first week and won. He seemed cool and calm, he doesn’t seem to be overly loud or arrogant. Watch out for him.
He seems to be quite funny. And one of the few creative thinkers in the early stages. I was quite impressed with his glove idea, so well done Adam, keep it up.
He seemed very sure of himself when confronting the project manager. I liked his line about “This guy is all gear but has no idea”.
He was also quite creative this week. He had the idea. He was full of beans. He was impressive.
At the same time there are members of the boys team who we simply haven’t seen! Michael Copp? Has he gone home early or what?
It’s too early to pick a winner yet but so far the boys have certainly impressed.
