As we reported earlier, former The Apprentice winner Stella English spoke to us recently regarding all the negative reports about her that have been making headlines of late, and told us, “I’m not a bitch! I’m just a working mum…”
And in response to the somewhat heavy-duty nature of the press about Stella, we invited the star to take part in a series of new features that we’re running entitled ’10 Things You Didn’t Know About…”
We have a whole host of celebs lined up to answer the fun questions, and here’s what Stella revealed to us by answering our questionnaire…
What’s your favourite TV show and movie?
Alan Carr Chatty Man and The Pursuit of Happiness with Will Smith
What book are you reading at the moment?
1984 by George Orwell
What’s your idea of a perfect weekend?
A day at the beach or walk in the country with friends and kids, an evening with lots of food and wine and laughter. I love Sunday evenings with my kids, cooking a roast dinner for them, enjoying a glass of red wine and snuggling up in front of a movie!
Do you remember your first kiss?
Unfortunately yes I do – my god it was horrendous! (Sadly, we didn’t get to find out who that “horrendous” snog was with, but we’re working on it!)
What’s your biggest regret?
Not spending more time with my Great Aunt Stella before she passed away. Other than that I have no regrets. To regret would be to regret who I am.
What achievement are you the most proud of?
My sons. God must have thought I had done something right to give me two beautiful blonde strapping lads to take care of. They are everything to me.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I wish I had more patience but I do try!
When was the last time you cried and why?
Last week when I was thinking about how cruel someone had been to me. My little boy is so unused to seeing me cry he looked very confused and said “Mummy, why are you laughing?’”
What’s the most embarrassing track or album in your music collection?
I don’t know if I’m embarrassed about it. I have a wide taste in music but I loved RnB and rave music as a teenager. I still love it now. People are often surprised I also love bands like Cypress Hill!
What’s your favourite alcoholic tipple?
We’ll be brining your more 10 Things You Didn’t Know soon, but for now, here’s a reminder of Stella on The Apprentice…
