I just knew it! Didn’t I say earlier today that scenes from last night’s Apprentice show, with Claire and co bullying Sara, reminded me of Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty from Celebrity Big Brother?

It seems I was closer to the truth than I realised. In fact Apprentice wannabe Claire Young is rumoured to have auditioned for Channel 4 reality TV show, Big Brother, three times.

A work colleague told The Daily Star: “Claire’s a real larger-than-life character who is desperate for fame. I wasn’t at all surprised to see her land a place on The Apprentice – she’s a real go-getter.

“But since getting on The Apprentice she’s been desperate to keep her Big Brother efforts a secret.

“The last thing she wants is for Sir Alan to discover she’s a fame-seeker.”
