The Apprentice: Does Sir Alan Sugar Regret Firing Raef?

It is just over two hours now until we find out who will win this years Apprentice, but it seems as though Sir Alan Sugar may be already having second thoughts over previous candidates.

I think most of us were shocked when Sir Alan fired Raef a few weeks ago and held onto the useless Michael, and it seems that he is now admitting to a serious error in judgement.

‘When Raef went perhaps the right person to have gone should have been Michael. And then who knows what would have happened. Because when they went forward onto the car task Raef may have excelled in that suave and debonair way,’ said Sir Alan to Radio one.

‘He’s a very nice bloke, let me tell you that. I’ve spoken to him off camera lots of times. This is a very, very nice fellow. The fact of the matter is, you can see he’s a very nice fellow because there’s no trash about him in the newspapers, he’s got no skeletons about him, he’s a real clean cut chappy.’

The Apprentice Final, tonight, 9pm, BBC1
